for good reason. There isn't anything fancy about this stuff...nothing 5 star or wow about it... it's just a good, clean, light, masculine scent. I get mandarin orange at the top, followed by some spice and musk at the back end. It has received positive attention from the ladies (basically "4 star" attention, not five) meaning they like it but it's just that... "pleasant". I think it's a great work cologne because it doesn't offend anyone. I got the gift set with the 3.4 oz. edt + 0.25 oz. edt, plus the after shave balm and the deodorant stick. I consider it a good buy and wear it rather often.

My favorite cologne by far. very arousing, intoxicating smell. Ladies looove it. has a clean, natural, musky smell.

Perry trips out once again. This stuff stank! Reminds me of some muslim oil. If you have to wear then definitely shower first. But I can see the approach. He was trying to make a natural scent.

This is a soft frangrance that is quite pleasant...not overpowering. Lasts a bit more than other PE products.

Not a bad scent. I really dont care for the Perry Ellis line of colognes but this one is pretty nice smelling.

I bought this for my husband & it smells great on him. Nothing outstandingly special, but just a nice "man" scent. Plus, you can't beat the price. Also, the bottle comes in this gold tube canister which I gave to my son & he loves to put stuff in there (Little People, pacifiers, cereal, etc.)

I’ve always been a “just soap and water guy” because I wasn’t very comfortable with the “beautiful” scents or the “animal” smells. This moves me. It’s a male feeling about male style. When I wear it I don’t feel like a kid and I don’t feel compelled to go to a dance club. It just makes me feel good.

It smells exactly like Hugo Dark blue

It's not flowery, not really musky. Doesn't smell like anything else out there. Tommy and Calvin people might want to try a sample first.

It reminds me of Hugo, Lacoste, and Lucky You -- not that their fragrances are similar, but that they all share that same generic "syntheticness." I have no idea what they're going for here (at least Lacoste and Lucky You were obvious attempts at copying other fragrances), but this stuff is just strange. It doesn't smell like anything a person would want to spray on themselves so they could smell like it for hours. I'm trying to say it just doesn't smell like a cologne to me. Maybe some kind of detergent? No... it doesn't even smell that good, really. Maybe, like some kind of chemical odorizer tossed into a bug spray or a weed killer so that it doesn't smell completely disgusting to the guy that's spraying it. What in God's name were the people at Perry Ellis thinking? Who has so little taste that they're going to wear this stuff? I must say, most of the more recent fragrances I've come across have been... disappointing. They haven't all been this bizarre and malodorous, but... I am not seeming to dig them at all. Maybe I'm getting old -- or maybe it's that most of men's fragrances aren't worth wearing, then and now... but the only ones left from twenty-five to thirty years ago are the cream of the crop. Like, twenty years from now, nobody is going to want to wear this garbage, so it'll be gone and disappeared. But people will still want to splash on some Acqua di Gio, so that'll still be available. And guys that are in their thirties in twenty years will be going, "Wow. Most of today's stuff sucks... but there's all this great stuff available from twenty years ago." And I'll be sitting there going, "Kid... we had our awful stuff then, too. You just never got the chance to smell it, because it's gone now... gone to that great Fragrance House in the Sky..." And he'll say, "Yeah? Like what?" And of course, I'll smile and reply, "Let me tell you about this crappy stuff called Perry Man..."
