This is my girlfriend's preferred fragrance ...
...my girlfriend's favorite perfume...
I ordered Charlie WHITE. There are different kinds of Charlie. This was more like a Charlie yellow or gold. Bottle is clear and so should be the color white (clear).
I got the Charlie perfume for a friend and she loved it. The shipping was fast. The price was also nice.
I happened to pick up this fragrance to relieve the boredom of standing at the checkout counter in WG. When I sprayed it, I couldn't believe how it lifted me up. It smells light, clean/crisp, alittle fruity, alittle flowery and it reminded me of the smell of the beach. I soon purchased the fragrance and have been wearing it everyday ever since. After wearing it a few times, I noticed that it's a bit simular to Le Jardin. Charlie White is a great summer time fragrance.
I still think this one is very pretty, but just have to mention that the staying power is just about nil. A couple hours after spraying I can't smell a thing. Disappointing.
This really is creamy and sweet, such a pretty scent. Starts to tone down right after spraying, doesn't choke the life out of you like some of the older ones do. Not overpowering at all. Reminds me of Light Blue, love that one also.
Unusual, seems to really become part of your skin, maybe that's why the description says "leathery"? Kind of a warm, creamy sweetness. Like if they made a perfume called "Whipped Cream" it would smell like this.
I wore Charlie White through the hot summer months, and got so many compliments on it. The scent seems to hold up well without being overpowering, and it's not too sweet.
I was surprised when it was described as "leathery" too. It's really not like that at all. It's very floral and airy, almost a more feminine version of CK One (which came out around the same time as this, I believe). I also agree with Brittnee: this is the best Charlie on the market in my opinion. It's light and breezy, one of the few such fragrances I wore when I was about 14.
I WOULD DESCRIBE IT AS A MIXTURE OF A SOMEWHAT FRUITY MUSK WITH AN AQUATIC AND AIRY OVERTONE. (THE SITE PARTLY DESRIBES IT AS AMBERY AND LEATHERY, BUT I THINK THOSE ARE A LITTLE DECEIVING, BECAUSE THOSE THNGS USUALLY DESCRIBE A WARMER, HEAVIER AND SOMEWHAT STRONG SCENT- WHICH THIS ISN'T AT ALL. IT IS ON THE LIGHT SIDE AND IS A REFRESHING AND UPLIFTING FRAGRANCE, AT LEAST TO ME. IT PAYS TO WAIT FOR DRYDOWN BEFORE TRULY JUDGING IT, BECAUSE OF THE INITIAL EFFECTS OF THE ALCOHOL CONTENT. ITS NICE FOR DAYTIME OR CASUAL USE.
I think it's alright. It's definitely one of the best for the money... It's flowery and a bit synthetic. I feel like it's missing a citrusy note perhaps? Or something to balance out the sweetness. It also becomes much more pleasant when it wears off slightly.
This perfume really takes me back. It's soft and light. Fresh and clean. All you could want... Men like it too from my experience, not the heavy knock out perfumes. You smell naturally good in this.
Innocent and sensual scent...I love it....
THIS IS ONE OF THE WORSE FRAGRANCES THAT REVLON EVER CREATED. I DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS CHARLIE COLORS STUFF (RED, WHITE, ETC.). I DON'T LIKE THE RED BUT THIS CHARLIE WHITE IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. PLEASE REVLON, STOP MESSING WITH CHARLIE. THE ORIGINAL WAS GREAT. LEAVE IT BE.
If you feel the need to buy one of the Charlie's, this one is the least offensive. It is innocent smelling. I loved it, but wore it in Junior High so reminds me of very young days. Good summer fragrance.
Clean, fresh, soapy kind of smell...
OK so maybe I am the onl person who doesn't like this perfume. I don't smell any of the notes that it has been said to posess and I just think that it smells of rancid garbage.
Melon, lily of the valley, and soap.
I have tried this fragrance and was pleased with it. It seems to me a bit on the trendy side, which I don't mind (I noticed the smell of watermelon in it). It was a nice fresh fragrance and it also had a decent amount of staying power, like all the Charlies seem to. I would probably buy this in the future.
This a wonderful scent. I will be standing in line somewhere and people next to me will ask what I have on(especially men). When I first started wearing it it was very reasonable but now that it's getting so popular the price has gone up.
This is one of the best ever. More compliments when I wear this than anything else. Not available in alot of places though
