Are at the door, Emperor Bonaparte, and they don't seem too happy. Ok, it's a hoot that this is 150 yrs old, a great fresh smelling frag; what 4711 tried to be but didn't manage, etc. Still, as one reviewer pointed out, it's gone in 15 minutes. Stick to parliamentary democracy, it'll last longer.
This one is nice for ladies who enjoy cool, refreshing unisex fragrances, too. I spritz a bit of rosewater on, after applying a mist of Imperiale, which makes it a little more feminine. You could also layer it with orange blossoms, if you like. Based on my enjoyment of this fragrance and the BEAUTIFUL bottle it comes in, I'd like to collect the other colognes by Guerlain, as well. I'm sure it smells GREAT on a man, too. :)
A truly elegant fragrance from famed house of Guerlain is great for spring/summer days as well as formal occasions depending on the occasion. Still a remarkable and unforgettable scent even after more than 150 years have passed since its release.
Absolutely gorgeous. Light and fresh though I agree it lasts about as long as the life of a may fly.
I bought this last week reading the favorable comments on this page-and was disappointed. Lasts about 15 min, even with generous application, and then disappears without a trace. One of the few colognes I've regretted buying.
If a fragrance can be described as "elegant," this is the one.
Very sweet smelling...def. wearable...not sure its the greatest though
this is very nice and distinct cologne, no wonder why famous people used to wear it, it is refreshing and exciting, you have to try this one
I have never been without this elegant, classic cologne since the 1960s.
My first love wore this cologne. I rarely ever see it. "The pain of love lasts a lifetime long."
This is my all time favorite. I never fail to get compliments when I wear it. It's also unique. Fresh and clean/
I like it a lot. I usually use it on daytime. The history tells that the dominican dictator Rafael Trujillo used it too.
Whenever this melts into my fiancee's skin, I hover about him to catch another whiff. I love this stuff! Also I've heard that Napoleon wore a version of this scent.
the original- oldest and classiest unisex scent. fresh and exitiing. never a"perfumey" overbearing
