I cant believe that people dont like this. its one of the best sellers that i have and I always get compliments from both men and women once they smell it. Its also very long lasting.
I can see what people mean about the similarities to le male. However thats beside the point. Its still disgusting. I never liked Carolina Herrera . Her other colognes for men are no better. I have never bought anything of this brand - not for myself or anyone else. And never will !
I didn't like it. And females don't like that cigar smell. Doesn't last long either.
212 sexy I don´t like it at all. it smells like a cheap fragance, an I love CH parfumes. In my opinion Nothing to do with Le male by JPG wich is a premium scent. Sorry Dear Carolina you know I love you
I just wanted to confirm my paSt statement, after trying and trying over and over again... THIS IS A COPY OF Le Male BY JEAN PAUL GAULTHIER. No doubt.
I have been an extremely loyal and dedicated Carolina Herrera fan for years. In fact, my adoration goes back to 1999 when 212 MEN was first launched. Ever since, I've experienced perfect harmony with her fragrances. I often wondered how I have such good luck with the fragrances that she puts out. Deep in the back of my mind, I figured that at some point, my luck would stop. Unfortunately, that day came with 212 SEXY MEN. I was at work in my office when my 212 SEXY MEN arrived. I remember being so anxious to try it that I opened the box and tested it right there. Unfortunately, the first thing that came to my mind was, "This smells like LeMale!" There's a very interesting note at the start, which I really love, and it reminds me of an intense Dr. Pepper soda smell. It's really quite good, and falls in perfect harmony with the coloring of the 212 SEXY MEN packaging. Unfortunately, this experience doesn't last very long at all. A few minutes at best, and then the similarities to LeMale kick right in. For those who don't think this smells like LeMale, I think it's extremely critical to remember the original 212 fragrance and how it was even worked so nicely into the other derivatives of 212 such as 212 On Ice/212 H20, and the 212 WHITE limited editions. I find that with 212 SEXY MEN, the reference to the original has been almost hidden if not completely removed altogether. The concept and marketing for 212 SEXY MEN has been done with impeccable taste and in true "CH" style, which anyone who is interested in seeing can view here: http://www.carolinaherrera.com My favorite part of the marketing of 212 SEXY MEN is that they referenced, "New York's mythical nights." I think that was really brilliant, and quite accurate. The imagery of the Empire State Building glowing at night, in the start of the 212 SEXY MEN television spot is also quite impressive, and sets the tone for the fragrance. I have tried the scent several times after my initial encounter with it, and have had no luck whatsoever. I've tried it both on my skin, on test strips, etc. and my reaction is the same with each test. In fact, I have also tested them side by side with LeMale, and while they are different, the references to one another are so similar in some instances that they simply can't be ignored. On a good "note," I will continue to try 212 SEXY MEN to see if on some lucky day, my nose will be in perfect sync with my mind, allowing me to toss all references to LeMale out the window and to really enjoy my favorite area code (212) bototled, as it happens when the sun goes down.
this is not like le male, i cant stand that fragance, this 212 is oriented to a floral base similar with armani code, test both the same day and you will find similarities in the spicy-floral notes.. code is going to a creamy tunes and this 212 to a oriental base.. not a hit ok ? but is a really nice fragance for evening...
this happens to be the worst from carolina, how do such a fragrance happen on earth, worst pls discontinue.
SORRY BUT I HAVE TO DISAGREE BECAUSE THIS DOES NOT SMELL LIKE LE MALE AT ALL, SEEMS LIKE SOME PEOPLE IS HAVING OLFACTORY PROBLEMS.
This is NOT a Le Male clone. If you're looking for a Le Male clone, check out Britto Man, which manages to be a bit more suitable to wear because it has less of a floral element to it. 212 Sexy Men has some characteristics similar to Le Male, but to call it a clone is to confuse the point between say, a Mustang and an RX-8 because they're both cars. It doesn't take but a passing glance to realize there's a heck of a lot of difference between the two.
lover, this is jean paul as stated before. if you want an inexpensive (or cheap) 360 white by perry ellis. big dissapointment.
Well, this is Jean Paul gaulthier's Le Male! But a little bit spicier tough. Anyway. Have designers run out of creativity? i don't know why every scent is launched out there nowadays turns out to be a copy of other fragrances, examples? I love love= Light Blue, Del Mar= Nautica, L'Instant (m) = Emporio, Echo = Nautica Competition... etc. It seems some people have lost their inspiration.
