I've recently started to collect perfumes, and teach myself about the complex aspects of different perfumes. Well, they don't come more complex than this. at first it's almost too strong even to describe. But within 10 minutes, this beautiful perfume settled down, and I was left with a distinct floral scent that I would now recognise anywhere. Oh dear, thats me saving up, and searching for a full sized bottle!!
If you can find the vintage formula in the red-box pictured, grab it! Profumo is a classic chypre with a healthy dose of plum running through it - similar to Guerlain Parure but heavier and more floral. The new Profumo isn't nearly as good - probably because of the restrictions on oakmoss.
is an awesome brand, lets put in this way: it's a niche brand. Don't expect something simple, best selling and plain fruity-floral from an exclusive brand! I mean come on, this kind of a brand will make their scents unique and only REAL perfume maniacs will know what I'm talking about. Every fragrance from Acqua is made of real ingredients, no synthetics and I guess people like to stick to nasty trash like Celine Dion...
Starts out smelling like spearming toothpaste, mixed with Lemon Verbena. After a while it smells like nothing. JF
It's a sort of sharp smell, pleasant, but not for everyone's taste. My sister loves it, however I would not wear it,.. it's not me... It reminds me of a strong smelling lavender soap, sorry it's supposed to be some classy smell...
