This IS a romantic masterpiece. There is a twinge of nostalgia and sadness to it, like the superb Nicole Miller for Men-- that put me off at first. But I've come to love it. Naturally they're both discontinued, so get them while you can!
This is the least interesting of the three colognes by Dali available on this site (btw I've smelled Laguna and quite liked it--anyone tried Dalimix? Anyone have the slighetst idea what's in Agua Verde?) The Smoke/Spice knockout punch of Salvador Dali and the unique richness of Le Roy Soliel are just far more interesting . The virtue of this one--besides the fact that one may get it confused with Salvador Dali (this is only "Salvador" remember?) and order it by mistake is that for a 'romantic' cologne, it has no vanilla notes and the lavender that it does have is not overpowering. Casual wear. 4 stars.
a masterpiece of art. center of the heart. amazing grace. shines down on me. wonderful. blessing in disquise.
Hi! This cologne is my personal favorite of all time. But I would also like to try out other similar fragances. Do you know any? Thanks!
This scent is quite good - reminds me a little of Pasha on my skin.
Mauricio, You are right, I like Gucci Envy. I do not have it. I already have 60+bottles of various scents and starting to be ashamed of my appetite. But the Gucci is good, it reminds me of Signature by ST Dupont but somewhat fresher. I am not familiar with Armand Basi. I will educate myself on this one. Questions, suggestions? please e-mail: [email protected]
You guys.. What is the top one perfume to wear on occasions.
It seems that you know about perfumes and you like classic ones. I¨m a collector too, and i think you will enjoy Guccy Envy and Armand Basi perfumes (from Spain)
This one is my fav in Dali's line for men ( I aslo have S.Dali, and LeRoy...). It is elegant, fresh. I had a miniature flacon a couple of years ago, and used it up very qickly. If I remember it right it was somewhat like Cerruti's 1881. Very fresh and invigorating. It is on my list for the near future.
