Between skin and wool, between flesh and knit, between light and shadow. Slip into perfume like you would in a sweater. Le Parfum by Sonia Rykiel has top notes of hinoki wood, mimosa and passion fruit. The heart of Le Parfum is osmanthus from china, rose de mai, and iris from tuscany. The base is tonka bean, ambered precious woods, and vanilla.

Hi Sister Junkie! Just checked in on some of my previous posts. (Got to thinking today that somebody may have a question or comment on something I wrote ages ago, and found your message!) Thanks for your comment. I read and enjoy your posts as well. You know, I just posted a message to Suzanne at the Jil Sander No. 4 bulletin board. You may get a laugh out of it. Has to do with my "obsession" with collecting fragrances, and sounds to me like you might relate to that post as well! Wouldn't it be great if those of us that wanted to, could have our own little sub-group of Perfume Emporium, within PE? Are you listening PE? We love your website and many of us could benefit from a direct Q/A link via email so that our questions/comments could be addressed easily. I'm sure I'm not the only person who doesn't have much time to scan prior bulletin posts to see if there are any additional queries from other posters. Well Sister Perfume Junkie, hope to read you soon!! XOXO
very long lasting and smells very sexy and femine. i like to wear this in the evening since it is strong.
Hello, sister junkie! :) I read your posts and coincide with most of them. I must try this one. Sounds great, and the bottle is beautiful.
This is one fragrance that makes me feel like a million bucks when I wear it. So classy, so elegant, so wonderful. The initial notes are quite fruity on me, but the chypre essences evolve in a short while. Love it!
PE subscription sounds good but say nothing about the olfactory perfume category. I found a nice subscription for this very rare Sonia Rykiel fragrance LE PARFUM. It's a fragrance for chypre lovers, because it's a classic chypre (woody). Similar to La Perla, Halston, Coriandre, Genny, Montana, Cabochard and Paloma Picasso. For many women these fragrances smell too masculine. Chypre are special and very self-confident fragrances. Not too popular - and not very beloved by the younger women. Chypre often smell smoky and leathery. No sweet fruity girly-fragrances! More for the sophisticated lady (Sigourney Weaver type of women). - Okay, here the subscription: TOP NOTE/fresh floral: Bergamot, Peach, Green Note Orange, Aldehyde, Raspberry. MIDDLE NOTE/floral: Rose, Jasmin, Tuberose, Carnation, Orris, Honey. BASE NOTE/warm ambery: Patchouli, Vetiver, Oakmoss, Amber, Benzoin, Civet, Vanilla, Tonka. The drydown is more masculine, not too warm or feminine. Not a tiny bit sweet for my nose. Elegant and classy.
a scent from the divine inspiration. trure energy. beautiful secrets. oneclass of its own. wonderful.
To me this is the best perfume, very exclusive. It's up there along with Chanel 5!
This is gorgeous. Rich, woody, very feminine. And, to me, a distillation of the many aromas found in a fabulous French street scene. Very French in feel. Love it. And a little goes a long way. Wonderful sillage. I don't like L'eau de Sonia Rykiel - it goes bitter on my skin. This is nothing like that one. I also love Rykiel Rose.
