Marc Jacobs Essence is wonderful! Sweet, floral, elegant, but not too strong. I get compliments all the time when I wear it, which is just about all the time.
I just absolutely love this stuff. Found the large bottle and the body cream at a discount store and bought both. Perfect spring into summer fragrance, so uplifting. Very like the original Marc but less "cocktail party" and more "picnic in the park". Just a joy to put on in the morning. Love the color of the bottle too. Reminds me of a banana popsicle!
Just bought this and love it even more than the original. This is richer and much more long lasting. I recommend using it along with the lotion. Lasts all day. Excellent!
This has more Ummmm in it! Creamier, tailored for maybe evening-out? A little more concentrated but very smooth. Both edp and the body lotion purchased at discounted store. Lotion could be worn alone!
This scent is not only beautiful but sensual. It accentuates any mood. Smells Awesome!!
I have a miniature of this in the parfum. It's very pretty. This is for anyone who loves jasmine, gardenia or tuberose type scents. Highly floral. There are no foody notes except a touch of warmth in the base that makes it a creamy floral in the drydown. This has a similarity to Chanel Gardenia (which smells like jasmine and candy to me) but I like this much better than Chanel Gardenia.
Classy, elegant, upscale. I have owned both Marc Jacobs and Essence. I love them both, but the Essence is more romantic and leaves a lingering light scent.
I have both the Marc jacobs and the Essence. I absolutely love them both. I like the Essence because it is a little stronger than the regular Marc Jacobs. Meaning that the regular Marc doesn't last as long. So what I usually do is use one spray of the Essence over the Original Marc Jacobs. Lasts longer.
This and Marc Jacobs are very similar. I love them both and get complements all the time. This is not a strong over-powering perfume. It is perfect.
This is one of my fave! Creamy gardinia is what makes it diff from the original. Another one of my favorites. The original is just a bit more floral and fresher. Got lots of compliments! It's also not overwhelming in scent.
I purchased this perfume because I love Blush and the original Marc Jacobs perfume. I remember smelling this in a magazine when it first came out a few years ago, so I didn't think twice about ordering it without smelling it again. I think this is was too strong!! It smells like a really concentrated version of the original Marc Jacobs and not in a good way! I had to return it because it made me nauseous. And I only used one spray!!
I want to try this one. The bottle is so attractive! I rate the bottle 5. Hope the scent is also a 5.
to me it does, which smells good for when company is coming over or for your pleasure, but thats me please dont be angry:(
This is beautiful. I am in favor of the classics, but Marc Jacobs is one of the newer ones that I appreciate. Essence is light and lovely.
