A beautiful smelling aftershave.

I tried so many fragrances over time. This one is very pleasant, discreet, not too strong (meaning not overpowering). I still use many different fragrances, but I always come back to this one, because overall, I would say it is my favourite.

THE BUBBLE GUM ACCORD IS OKAY ITS BETTER THAN THE TOOTHPASTE ACCORD THAT MOST GENERIC COLOGNES HAVE BUT ITS NOTHING SPECIAL AND ITS TOO WEAK

this is a great cologne , i sparayed it on last night and can still smell it . i would give it gull marks . i highly recommend this .

Out of my 50+ fragrance collection, this one gets the most complements from the ladies. Good thing the price has come WAY down since it was first released, as i'll re-stock once my bottle runs out.

This is an excellent fragrance. Just a tad powdery and floral, but extremely fresh. Like fresh mountain air. Yuo can find it cheap at TJ Maxx if you look, like I did! ;)

There's a very good reason why women like this scent - its because they frequently wear it.

Classy. Distinctive. Refined. Perfect for the office or meetings etc. Stands out but isn't in your face. Masculine.

Simply amazing. I can't say enough about its unique scent.

Hey i have the eau de "cologne", and this last all day, also the gold bottle you see on this page is a picture of the refillable bottle, the others are clear.

Guys: In many fragrances, testers differ seriously from the EDT bottle you want to buy. Most times testers contain the Perfume version, which is much concentrated and richer in the key ingredients. I don't know about Baldessarini; I try it once and it doesn't seem to be long lasting at all. I was very disappointed by this almost unethical type of commerce (with YSL, Kenzo, Givenchy, etc). So make sure you know what is in the tester prior to buy the bottle.

I just came from the store where I sprayed on a little of Baldessarini. I washed my hands about 4 times with soap after it and it has been already 6 hours and smell stays strong. I would not wear it in the summer.

A lot of people are saying this cologne only lasts 15 minutes. Just because you apply a cologne and can't smell it after 15 minutes does not mean it faded away. It could be your nose simply got used to it. The best thing to do is ask someone else if they can still smell it on you. It lasts longer than 15 minutes. Another cologne to check out is Del Mar.

best. decent floral/citrus scent that is not worth the price of admission. very light and faint scent. definately could use an extreeme version but with so many citrus scents would that help? perhaps.

To me, it smells very masculine and mature. Definitely not for teens or younger men. Only drawback is having to reapply because it doesn't last very long.

This is an uncommonly elegant cologne, one that entralled me at once. For me, that was no easy thing: I am accustomed to the creme de la creme of colognes in Paris, where I live, and I am as loyal to a scent as I am fussy. Every few years I select one out every hundred or so I sample. Baldessarini, like Proust's Combray, sends me into a memory: specifically, a memory of the scents I recall so well at our summer place at in the Vallee du Loire. There is something uniquely delicate and ambrosial about it> It is rich and opulent but never overbearing. And it's perfect if you are in a high profile, public profession.

It is without a doubt that this latest by hugo boss is one of the best colognes on the market, I smelled it at sephora did the usual 15 min walk around and had to come back to get a botle i have over, 30 colognes so i nornally dont buy a big bottle this along with vera wang i did very sophisticated scent, however i would suggest you wear this when u r at ur best as far as attire and grooming as this would get a lot of attention.

I was charmed at the cologne counter by a tall beautiful Trinidadian who in a few minutes sold me the set of Baldessarini. I tried it out that night on a date with my sweetie and it turned her engine on like nothing I've ever worn before. Thanks Hugo. You've always been there for me!

That's right. This is my #1 fragrance among the likes of Kenneth Cole's Signature, Chrome by Azzaro, Vera Wang, Platinum Egoiste by Chanel, and Yohji Homme by Yohji Yamamoto. I have worn Baldessarini more than any other fragrance in my collection, and I don't really find that it completely lacks staying power. The note is sublime, and it's perfection in every spray. Every man, young and old alike, should buy this fragrance because it does not discriminate. A young man can be comfortable wearing this as much as an older, more matured man. I don't see any resemblance to bubble gum as noted by former reviews. It's well worth the money if people consider this expensive.

I personally have at least 40 colognes on the shelf and admittedly Baldessarini is one of my top 5. Now I don't claim to know all the obscure colognes that smell the best but I know a great scent when I smell it- Baldessarini is one of them. Simply unbelievable fragrance- stunning. Not overpowering but intoxicating for women upon smell. Some people said it smells like bubble gum...I have no idea why as it doesn't resemble bubble gum in the least. Buy it now.

Dont let the ad fool you. "separates the men and the boys". I'm in my early 20s and i wear it, and it really doesn't smell like it's for older gentlemen either, it's quite sweet and modern, i know tons of other scents that suits the older bracket more. But this can be worn on a young well-dressed classy guy as well.

As already noted by others... it is an almost perfect fragance (IMO, and for men my age -36- and older) that unfortunately doesn't last for the whole day. The way to make it last longer was to get the rest of the product line: shower gel, the deodorant, and the aftershave lotion. More expensive but the different products build into each other very nicely. Then, you may get addicted and you don't want to buy the eau de cologne, but the perfume. More $$$ LOL. Before this one I used Burberry for about 4 years. I got a bottle of Nino Cerruti's Cerruti 1881. Both of them last a lot longer than this Boss fragance, and I think they project the same image: Manly man who is not a teenager anymore... LOL

It is definitely for a man with some presence. Will accentuate your manly qualities, though really is for a slightly older age bracket (can you picture this on a pimply teenager?). word of warning: make sure you are a man of presence or you will smell like a try hard instead of classy.

I absolutely love the smell. Most people I know agree with me too. Smells wonderful on my skin and last, on my skin, very long. Put it on just 6 hours ago and can still smell it. Love the smell though. Worth the price if it lasts on you.

it is not a very good cologn but not bad.

I got this cologne as a gift, and It is not that great. The smell is defiently for the older generation, and the smell doesn't last long at all.

This is a very unique and great smelling cologne. However, you better buy the small bottle and take it with you so you can reapply it every hour or so.

This is my No.3 favourite scent (after Cerruti Image and Mont Blanc Individuel). Whenever i smeel this Beldasserini, i always imagine that this IS the smell for a tall, dark, masculine guy. It smells very masculine, giving a sense of power and confidence. love it.

This cologne tries hard to be classy, but in fact its a generic boring smell that is a huge let down considering the potential Hugo had with this one.

This is great, found this does last on me. I recommend highly... I am 24 yrs old my brother is 18 he loves this also. My other favs are joop,jpg,drakkar,and ck escape,eternity, but this is my no 1...Hope this helps

I bought Baldessarini recently and I do love the scent. It is very classy, high quality and I liked it at the first time I tried it. I personally feel the bitter orange in the first notes, and then it dried down to something spicy but of very good taste. I bought the eau de cologne and it lasts for almost six hours in me. The new version concentree must be better, but I couldn´t find it and it certainly must be more expensive. And if a fragrance lasts for more than four hours I am happy. For some reason Dune doesn´t last an hour in me. I consider Baldessarini the perfect fragrance for romance or to be used at night. I think people who likes this fragrance might like the awesome "Memoire D´homme" by Nina Ricci. Both are very classy, different and high quality.

This is a very fine, unique scent. Love the hint of pine hidden away in there somewhere. I haven't had any trouble with its staying power in cologne strength.......actually it might be a little overpowering in an EDT. Bring it on.

This one is just ok on me - nothing special at all. Found it surprisingly simple. Might be my skin - may be much nicer on others.

A GREAT SCENT THROUGH AND THORUGH. ALTHOUGH IT DOES HAVE A SHORT LIFE(UNFORTUNATELY), I THINK IT MAY BE BEST TO WEAR THIS IN THE SPRING AND SUMMER MONTHS SO THE HEAT FROM THE SUN AND YOUR BODY CAN BRING IT OUT. IN ADDITION TO THAT, YOU HAVE TO HAVE A FOUNDATION FOR WHICH THE ANY COLOGNE FOR THAT MATTER TO BUILD UPON TO MAKE THE SCENT STICK AND LAST LONGER LIKE AFTERSHAVE OR SHOWER GEL, ESPECIALLY WITH THE LIGHTER SCENTS AND COLOGNES THAT ARE NOT EAU DE TOILETTE OR PARFUM STRENGTH. TOHER THAN THAT, HUGO BOSS HAS MADE ANOTHER WINNER WITH THIS ANDTHE CONCENTRATED VERSION AS WELL. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

This is truly a unique scent. Not too strong,not too sweet and not in any way offensive to anyone close by or passing my way. I was getting kind of fed up with my Perry Ellis 360 (smells like disinfectant) & I thought maybe it's time for a switch.

Hugo Boss finally makes this is a concentree!!!! Oh Yeah!!! You have to go to hugoboss.com and find the shop locator to pick a store to order it. I am so reluctant to share this because I love it so much but, I know exactly how frustrated all you are with the scent fading in in mins with the EDC. Now we can indulge and enjoy this beautiful scent!!!

Great fragrance from what I can tell. Just sprayed it on, so I'll have to wait for the drydown, but great so far.

I used it for a month. On average, women under 30 hated it, over that loved it. Meaning, only real men should wear this. A real man's cologne. Rated average because of its less than hour lifespan.

I sampled this product the other day.This would be the best colonge, bar none, if the scent lasted longer. A somewhat waste of a perfect scent if you ask me.

For such an awesome fragrance, they should have made it an Eau de Toilette - they just last longer. This is not Eau de Toilette, it's just cologne .. so it's gonna be weaker. Too bad too, this is a great scent. Oh well, use it while ya got it ... might as well enjoy it.

This would be the perfect scent for me, if it were not for the fact that 10 minutes after I spray it on ... it is gone, completely gone. Therefore I cannot rate it more than average. If this would last longer, then it would definetly get the highest score. Dear Mr Boss, please make this stronger! Can anyone recommend me a scent that is similar to Baldessarini but lasts longer?

I love the smell but it fades very fast in my experience, and after about 2 hours it's completely gone.

Smells decent at first, but then it fizzles out REAL quick. Not worth the money.

Baldessarini is elegant in a way that is pleasantly surprising but in my experience with a sample I recieved, it doesn't last too long, e.g. about 15 minuites or so?

It reminds me OPIUM POUR HOMME.But it is more expensive than Opium.

Another great Hugo Boss fragrance - It's in a class of it's own. It is, however, a little weak for something of it's price and class.

If there is a gum that smells like this cologne, then it must be a very good gum. I would love to know the brand so I chew it more often and smell good all the time. This cologne is the best ever.

Smells like money! This really separates men from boys, but is an excellent choice for younger men too, despite of the old man in the advertisement. This is so good I´m not gonna praise it to my friends cause I don´t want them to smell as good as I do. This is Chanel 5 for men of the 21st century!!

Baldessarini and Hugh Parsons Original are without equal. Step aside CK, Tommy and everyone else...THIS is class and sex appeal!

I got a bottle today and i think this is the best hugo boss perfume (boss #6 is good too). This is a sweet but elegant perfume, very different and special smell, as the first guy said "PERFECT SMELL"

Hey, this one's really great. There are only very few colognes out there that breathe the air of absolute sophistication. This is definitely one of them. It's good for going out stuff... The top note might seem a bit too womanish at first, BUT: don't be tricked. It develops into one of the best high class male colognes (!), it's very classy and distinguished unlike anything I've smelt before... 5 of 5 - definitely (give it a try!!!)
