great drydown. Class and elegance. Don't overspray. Hermes is not for the kiddies. This is serious stuff, just like every product Hermes has on the market; complex, refined, classy and elegant. A true gentleman will know and a true lady will appreciate

This an elegant fragrance more suitable for formal wearing. Drydown is too powdery and lacks staying power. Still smell good.

This stuff smells unreal. The biggest problem I have is that it simply has no, and I mean no, lasting power. This fact is so unforunate because the stuff is absolutely amazing smelling. Too expensive, because it does not last, but man does it smell awesome.

Rocabar slightly smells like usual men faragrance (almost similar to: Paco rabanne XS, Rouge Guerlain). But however this there is something different in this fragrance that makes feel different and glamorous. You have to try it!!!

This is one of the best colognes ever. I don't think it could have detractors and if there are, they simply know nothing of taste.

Halston Catalyst. (in the 'chemistry' bottle) Slightly a) more citrus b) less fruits c) more masculine d) more pungent. e) longer lasting. but only slightly, mind you. It's almost a twin brother and if you search the web you'll probably find it at half price of Roc, since Halston is not as fashionable a company as Hermes.

This is unreal stuff. it is so long last and a very interesting scent that is sure to not offend anyone. It just smells so deep and rich. Another powerhouse from Hermes, but what do you expect? Equipage, Bel Ami also amazing from Hermes, which is right up there with Caron as the best design house for men. Nobody can top Caron, but Hermes is trying hard, they have some big time scents. Deep, mysterious, rich, this is Rocabar, high quality stuff.

I had to change colognes because they no longer made the one I liked, then I tried this, wow! You will not be disappointed!!!!

Very good, the dry down shares similar qualities to Lalique(Lion) but much lighter and softer

My husband loves it and would wear it daily,so I have to give it an excellent rating for him. I prefer Bel-Ami on him however. Rocabar is a little too piney for my taste.

I agree, this scent isn't for everyone, but those it is for it just illuminate your mind. When I wear this, people ask me what I'm wearing and they like it!!!!!!! enough said!

I loved it when I smelled it first time. I still love the smell, but its life is very short. I am dissapointed. Because that I am not sure if I will buy it again.

This is an interesting fragrance. Not for everyone. I must admit that it does smell very good, a bit spicy and sweet, and if sprayed on the lower part of the neck and shoulders lightly it will go a long way.It has a wonderul dry down effect. I wonder why Hermes could not give this long lasting effect to Eau d'Orange verte, which is such a wonderful scent. Don't they listen!

warm and very sexy. very masculine. i wear it on my hand sometimes to smell it throughout the day.

Overated this smells too harsh on vetiver.

Nice earthy smell but its really not that great.

The scent is pretty light. I'd say it is aromatic, and warm. If you like Coriolan, this one is in that group but without the leather note. Maybe Salvador Dali (flat bottle), and 1881 can be somewhat comparale too. Anyway, I like it a lot, FWIW. Also my wife received an excellent leather rope for her jewelry, and my daughter got the blanket for her dolls, and I got the fragrance. It does not get better than that.

I am 29 years old and i want to buy an ellegant perfume for the ocasions when you need to be well-dressed, but i dont like old perfumes" classics" like vetiver, azzaro, fendi, gentelman, boss, etc: can somebody tell me wich of this hermes perfumes is good for me? : rocabar, eqhipage, orange, eau de hermes. This cologne is perfect for a night out. This is not a daywear cologne. Very elegant.
