  • BIG MIKE10/19/2008

Good scent for the young crowd. Not suited for me however. If It was available during my college years this is a must buy

  • BLINK02/14/2008

Desire blue has an aquatic and sweet smell. In my opinion this is more appealing for younger men. A very casual cologne and could be used for almost any occasion.

  • E.R.11/21/2007

This cologne has a sweet smell that lingers in your nostrils, and on your brain, and makes you wonder what is that note I am smelling. Good casual scent.

  • P61MET07/16/2007

My friend swears by this stuff. I finally tried it on me. WOW! I ran out and bought a bottle right away. I wanted something fresh and sensual. Something that turns heads. Tired of the Issey Miyake and Aqua di Gio type scents. This is better. Way better. Finally found what I was looking for.

  • NEAL08/25/2006

Agree with paul and ROB D. To me it smells kind of synthetic. Bought it after reading all the reviews, could be just me though.., having said that, I love the original Dunhill. Dunhill Red is not bad either.

  • NEPTUNE198108/17/2006

This is one of my favorite perfume. It's fresh, like citrus, with a little bit sweet smell (probabbly vanilla). You can find like "ginger aroma" too. My younger brother introduced this perfume for me, and I like it.

  • C07/25/2006

This is an ok fragrance, but the fact that it smells like every other aquatic is a total turn off. If you own one aquatic, you pretty much own them all. Nothing special.

  • Z.G. ARCHIBALD06/11/2006

Very alluring aqua version of the original is just as sexy and great for the summer. Among the mainstream aquatics, this one appears to be overlooked and nowhere near as worn. Not a big deal, just makes it more mysterious to the women and makes me stick out in the crowd more.

  • MARCO TESTAVERDE03/20/2006

A rather sensual and even better follow-up to the original blends it with aqua and quite the babe-magnet.

  • BLISS03/16/2006

heyyy awesome fragance, very nice notes that make me feel, calm, free and comfortable... expect a great fruity/aquatic/floral smell... excellent longetivy + 12hrs

  • C.SANDERS03/06/2006

I bought this and it was okay at first..The thing is it didn't get good til more than half of the bottle was gone..The remedy...Shake the bottle as if it were a drink..Then apply...great results!!

  • ANTONIO01/29/2006

i once had a classmate that used to wear a great fragrance and i once asked him wich one it was and he told me it was dunhill but it turns out there are around 8 different dunhill fragrances, i was once walking in a park and the smell of a tree reminded me of that dunhill fragrance, in a way it was like a masculine version of cabotine by gres, does someone know wich one could it be?, thanks in advance

  • TONY T01/04/2006

competition with more youthful aquatics/fruity scents such as paris hilton and op juice. somewhat synthetic and overall decent under 25 scent. over 25 please go with del mar, bvlgari aqva or aquaman or the great GEIR.

  • N2DBLU12/05/2005

Good replacement for Acqua di Gio even though to many it's not considered to be in the aquatic category. Fresh, clean and equally as sensual as the original.

  • SKIPPY11/11/2005

I'm a one spray man. I used one spray on my chest this morning at 7:00AM plus the deodorant stick. I still get a little whiff of it at 9:15PM at night. Maybe some gets into my undershirt, but the scent certainly does not disappear. I don't know any scent that doesn't last all day and in many cases several days. A scent is at it's best when it's barely detectable anymore and mixed with your chemistry all day. If someone can smell you from more than 2 feet away it is way too strong and most likely offending someone. This scent is the strongest one I wear. Very good, but right at the top end of my scent meter. I would never go stronger than this. The cardinal rule is that you never want to overpower people with a scent. Never.

  • ROB H.09/13/2005

I'm amazed that this one has been rated less than half the amount of times the original's been. Anyways this is pretty much equally as sensual as the first except that this one is aquatic and ambery. Both are excellent and good looking out fellow cologne master!

  • EARL09/05/2005

Smells even better than desire original (red bottle). But it's just about the weakest colonge I've ever encountered. In 3 hours I couldn't even tell I tried it. So I returned it.

  • ANGELO08/19/2005

After reading comments in this thread, I hurried to the mall to sample it. Me and my friend like it very much! Simply AweSOME!!! I'll buy one in the coming pay day!

  • MAYA08/09/2005

My boyfriend tried this on about a week ago and I loved it, but unfortunately it disappeared on him within 10-15 minutes... it was like nothing ever happened... Not even a trail of a scent left... Similar thing happened when he tried Bvlgari Black - however fragrances like Hei, Rochas, Bvlgari, and Kenneth Cole New York really work for him, wear very well and we both love them :) Desire Blue is wonderfully rich but try before buying to see if it will last on you... Love the fragrance, too bad it does not last!

  • RHONDA07/25/2005

Bring back Dunhill Blue. That stuff is much better than Dunhill and Dunhill Desire!!!! Where can I get a bottle or two of Dunhill Blue????

  • SKIPPY04/25/2005

Best worn for carefree times such as dates, barbecues, dining out, parties, bars,...etc, or as a marital aid. Extremely sexy; could therefore be a distraction when concentration or sympathy is needed, and will backfire. Use as directed and you will not regret.

  • DAVE01/31/2005

This fragrance, to my skin anyway during drydown, smells like a combination of Davidoff Coll Water and Kenneth Cole's Reaction. A good thing :)

  • W.B.12/23/2004

ANOTHER SUGGESTION: TRY DESIRE BLUE BY ALL MEANS NECESSARY. IT IS SUCH A VERSATILE, SENSUAL, AND CLASSY SCENT THAT WILL REALLY GET THE ATTENTION OF THE LADIES. TRUST ME, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. ALSO TRY THE NEW DUNHILL; ANOTHER AWESOME SCENT. TAKE CARE, FELLOW COLOGNE MASTER.

  • A.J.09/23/2004

If you already owned the Desire Red, by all mean, get the blue one. You will have a fool proof regiment in your collection. The blue is for the day, and the red for the evening. The Desire Blue is, in my opinion, a perfect partner of the Red. It's more refreshing and is still alluring. Different from other sporty and citrusy colognes out there. Some of the new released colognes are trying too hard to be trendy. Not this one!! Believe me.

  • FRAGRANCE GURU09/17/2004

The quintessential party boys scent. Way too strong, sharp, and sweet. Waiting in line to get past the velvet ropes might take a little longer since everyone in the club can smell it already!! For better party boy scents, try JPG Le Male - you'll be , uh, entertaining waiting in line!!( you know what I mean; if not use your imagination!!)

  • W.B.09/09/2004

I HAVE THIS SPECTACULAR COLOGNE IN MY COLLECTION. I'VE SEEN ON THIS SITE THAT THIS IS COMPARED TO SCULPTURE BY NIKOS, ALTHOUGH I HAVEN'T SAMPLED SCULPTURE MYSELF SO I'M JUST GOING BY WHAT I SEE UNTIL I SMELL IT. JUST MY 2 CENTS, I GUESS. TAKE CARE.

  • MARUKKA08/02/2004

Yes, you heard me. It smells SOOOO good you want to eat it! So one day I got the nerve to lick my arm shortly after spraying expecting that normal alcohol stingy nasty sharp taste (you know what I'm talking about) but surprisingly it tastes like it smells... DAMN GOOD! Ofcourse it will not be a staple in my diet but it will get frequent rotation in my cologne wearage!

  • MATT07/27/2004

This stuff is great. Lasts long, smells fresh, a definite must.

  • MO07/03/2004

ALRIGHT.....have yourself a bowl of fruity pebbles...SMELLS EXACTLY THE SAME!!!! BUT I STILL LOVE IT!!!! this STuff will for sure, turn heads. In a way it is sweet like Joop yet has a fresh element to it. Very interesting smell which lingers long enough....THUMBS UP!!!

  • KING CHOOFER05/31/2004

I work in a cologne store, and I can tell you right now that this is one of the best there is. Perfect for daytime and casual wear, very nice smell, very clean, and perfect strength, looks great as well, simply perfect! hints of orange, musk and tonka bean are great

  • R.J.05/11/2004

AN ABSOLUTE GEM OF A SCENT. IT IS NOW A KEEPER IN MY STABLE OF COLOGNES.

  • L.D.02/19/2004

Very underated cologne. Need a break from the regular fresh cologne smells? This stuff is fresh and sweet so it makes it perfect for anytime. It's interesting. Smell it for yourself.

  • THE NAMES' JACK02/06/2004

this is a good scent. Nice smell but is very strong, too spicy overbearing. Plle will notice it from a mile away. It is also very long lasting. Good if you are clubbing/going out. NOt good for office/everyday wear.

  • SHAZ01/18/2004

Desire blue is killing my heart with its amazing smell.I like it..

  • MARTY11/28/2003

I really like the aroma when it's first put on but it does get a little weak really quick. Can be worn at work comfortably as well as on a date but for the date ya might wanna put quite a bit more on...I like it but nothing spectacular..

  • MARTIN11/22/2003

this one smell exactly like plus plus diesel. the best ive ever had!!!!

  • PAUL MANLY11/17/2003

Good citrius scent. Agree with W.B. but Hugo by Hugo Boss is still my favorite. Bought it on good recommendations. Not as invigorating as Hugo, dosen't have that pine/juniper scent.

  • W.B.11/14/2003

THIS HAS A NICE "JUMP IN; THE WATER IS FINE" AQUATIC SCENT. UNLIKE DESIRE(WHICH I DEFINITELY HAVE TWO BOTTLES OF AND USE FAITHFULLY), THIS SCENT IS SO MUCH MORE VERSATILE THAT IT CAN BE USED FOR ANY OCCASION. CAN'T GO WRONG WITH IT. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK ALFRED DUNHILL.

  • JOE SCHMOE11/08/2003

This is a good fragrance- It is very strong, sweet, and long lasting. Use catuously at the office. Recommnended for romantic wear/ good night out on the town.

  • URS TRULI XX11/04/2003

    Two Words, stunningly sexy...

  • FERNANDO10/25/2003

I was surprised with desire blue because I expected something way too sweet. Instead of that, I thought it was very classy and it is not sickening, but fresh. I have now a huge doubt about if I buy desire blue or Nikos Sculpture, since everybody is saying Nikos is better. I am just scared of buying Sculpture and then discovering that Desire blue was better. Also, if you think PI is too sweet for you, I think you will like Desire blue better. It is sweet but very elegant.

  • HECTOR07/14/2003

I found this gem at the mall yesterday. This stuff is exactly what I was looking for - THE ULTIMATE FRESH RUSH! Good stuff! Get it and the word is growing on this big time.

  • MAURICIO07/10/2003

CREATING A WONDERFUL SWEET FRAGANCE . DESIRE BLUE IS JUST A COPY , NOT BAD BUT SCULPTURE HOMME IS MUCH BETTER AND ORIGINAL. ANOTHER COPY IS AUBUSSON HOMME (DESIRE IS BETTER).

  • ROB D.06/27/2003

    Indeed

  • DAVID06/26/2003

First that last guy is wrong it smells nothing like Sculpture. Get a nose. This is very powerful and refreshing. A must get for your collection for daywear. This is v

  • PAUL06/14/2003

This is a bad copy! Sculpture is much much better.....Hard to find but worth every penney

  • JOE06/10/2003

Its simular to most other Aquatic fragrances. Havent tryed it yet but if its anywhere near as good as Aqua Di Gio it gets 5 stars in my book. But for now I leave it unrated. I might add I get the most compliments on aquatic cologne but pick a scent thats right for you.

  • GAURÍ06/03/2003

Very good! I did not rate it an excellent because i like different smell perfumes, and desire blue is very familiar. But it is very good.

  • MASUN05/18/2003

I smelled this at Sephora's and thought it was real nice. I kept the little strip (the thing you spray it on) and smelt it again at home. I suddenly realised it was very similar to Versace's Dreamer (which my best friend wears, so I don't want to buy this and smell like him). But I also have heard it was similar to Armani's Acqua Di Gio. Would anybody like to clarify this for me? Overall though, this is a great product.

  • DAVE05/16/2003

What can I say? This one is superb in every sense of the word. It can be worn on just about any occasion, and is not overpowering. Definitely my cologne of choice!

  • JAMES04/27/2003

It's a very very nice perfume. It's light, clean and fresh. If you like some aquatic and fresh perfumes but having trouble with some famous aquatic perfume as cool water. Try desire for blue. it's a new perfume and unlike some perfumes like cool water, it's light which makes a good perfume for everyone to use. If you still think this perfume is a bit strong then try using HEI by alfred sung.

  • FAST ONE04/08/2003

Oh my God this stuff is just as good as the red. I got it yesterday and it reminds me of a cool scent with pizazz. If you got the red one you have to get this. Visa versa as well.

  • BOB03/06/2003

Bought this. Was looking for something refreshing, yet strong and exiting. This definitly got my attention at the mall. The red one did too, which was a sweet scent. In some ways, this is like the "cool" version and the red is the "hot". With all the attention cool fragrances are getting like Polo Blue and Aqcua Di Gio this stuff blows both of them away. Dunhill rules!

  • BENARD02/11/2003

DESIRE BLUE IS ONE OF THE NICEST FRAGRANCES I'V ENCOUNTERED.....

  • ANTIONE02/11/2003

DESIRE IS SO FRESH AND SO CLEAN

  • ERIC02/03/2003

This fragrance is what I would classify as a casual/classy scent. This makes it suitable for either enviroments. It almost crosses the line into casual but there's this note that still says class. Very sexy. My wife loves this.

  • WINSON12/16/2002

Not too strong... very fresh with a wonderful smell better than alfred dunhill

  • BROKEN11/23/2002

If you like Desire, you'll like this one also. Desire Blue is the practical, fresh, anytime kind of fragance version of Desire, which recommended for romantic ocassions.

  • LIONHEART41711/14/2002

Not unique or special from the other fragrances. I feel kind of disappointed since it 'tastes' ordinary to me. Not bad perfume, but not great, either.

  • STU11/12/2002

Very much like the original. If you like Desire you will like this. It's just a little fresher, not quite as heavy.
