I agree, this is a 'prominent' scent made for the fall or winter, kind of like a spicey, powdery , distinguished scent. I can't wear it,( I dislike patcholli, but, when I smell it on others, I recognize it, instantly and enjoy it. To me.., it's got a lasting scent in my mind like the original 'Lagerfeld'!

Smells real nice, but doesn't last

I like this fragrance especially in the Autumn. Sort of reminds me of the smell of "leaves". A combination of citrus and spice, but not too heavy on the spice. I also detect a note of powder. It is masculine and perfect with a sweater.

The best blending of lavender and anise over precious woods that I've ever experienced. TUSCANY is a soft spoken, elegant, charming masculine aroma. Very unique. It shares some characteristics with AZZARO pour homme, but overall, it has a much smoother, dryer composition. It also has the distinction of being one of the two finest scents made by Aramis to date; the other being: HAVANA (now discontinued, but still available at www.perfumebay.com).

Perhaps due to an allusion to a certain pair of parts of the male anatomy which one should have in abudance to enjoy very masculine fragrances, like Tuscany. Not for the wimpy. Evening? Yes, but great in the summer breeze as well. Remarkable that such a splendid scent is composed of such a relatively simple formula. The beast ( and the best) of the Aramis line, IMHO.

This is, by far, the BEST men's cologne out there. I've experienced this fragrance on different men - and always get the same heady wonderful experience. Recently been given a bottle of Mandate, and must say is very much like Tuscany but a damn sight cheaper. If your on a budget get yourself some of this, you can hardly tell the difference, but your pocket will.As Groucho would say,What a bargain.

How many times can Aramis keep going to the well and come up trumps, well they have again. This has got to be the freshest citrus I have experienced, and the aniseed is just great. Not cheap, but you expect no other way, well worth a few quid (bucks) to please the ladies. As groucho says, slap it on.

I forgot to mention... a more modern one... Sienna made by Crabtree & Evelyn smells kind of similar to Tuscany... the same kind of leather... sexy masculine smell... both scents put ladies in the mood for love... ;) I just really love to smell this on a guy... :)

I love smelling this scent on a man... it's so seductive... it's a scent for the mature and middle-aged group... its smell suggests a very sophisticated, classy, or even worldly mature man with a successful career/life.. Actually, this scent attracted me to pay attention to a guy... ;) then I noticed how he looks! This's a love potion if you want to "seduce" women... ;) Perhaps, teenage girls may not appreciate this scent.. however for ladies late 20's and up most likely would appreciate it... it's classy and elegant... not to mention sexy and seductive.. I love it on my guy!

Just recently sampled this 20-year-old wonder and had one thing in mind. Classic scents from yesterday can still put up a fight with today' modernity. More appropriate for the middle-aged sophisticant but should be a winner in any fragrance collector's arsenal. For the Aramis and/or classic fans out there, try the new JHL.

You simply cannot get any better than this. I am a big fan of Aramis original, but this is in another world. Lemon and aniseed hit you like a Tyson right hook (when he could still fight.) Great staying power, little goes a long way, buy it as a treat for the woman in your life.

While no fragrance smells great on everyone, this is the only one that I have worn that women have literally stopped me on the street to ask what I was wearing.

Although this cologne is somewhat devoid of fresh, sporty, and other trendy scents, it's still extremely pleasant. Tuscany is indeed a luxury treat for men (and the ladies, of course). This cologne is so memorable. A True gentleman's classic. It's so warm and inviting. No wonder this cologne has so many devotees after so many years. Only excellent cologne like this will stand the length of time.

This is a warm and masculine scent - not one i could wear all the time, but nice anyway. It has a very distinct smell.

Tuscany is good, but Tuscany Forte is better. I get compliments from women all the time when wearing it. Surprising that not many people have heard of it. The secret is out now.

Ahhh, my personal favorite (try the forte it's better). Always get compliments and it has a good effects in general (see what it does for gunther). I mean it doesn't quite have that much of an effect upon myself but it is a great scent.

Tuscany IS THE SEXIEST COLOGN I'VE EVER SMELLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its sexy, masculine and romantic. I also think it is a women magnet! THEY classify it as a office cologn, but I rate it as a romantic, night on the town, to get into the bed and in the bed cologn, party cologn, to find a woman cologn, to keep a woman cologn. a formal cologn. I would say dont wear the cologn out at work if you're ingaged or married.=)unless your boss is a woman and you want to get a promotion=)

This scent absolutely puts me in the mood for LOVE! No joke I've used it for a gift for 2 different boyfriends over the years and it worked great for their chemistry! It makes me feel almost as sexy smelling this as my own scent makes me feel wearing it! Even when my Sweetie is going somewhere where when we're separated by trips he puts it on for me and it makes me love him even more. Real Men wear this! This and safari are the only colognes I use. Both share some characteristics which is why I like them both. Out of the two I prefer tuscany. Unlike almost all newer mens colognes in my opinion the two I have mentioned smell masculine not androgynous (i.e too floral or heavy vanilla undertones). If you do get tuscany get the forte it has more oil in it and stays on you longer....

I have been wearing Tuscany for 18 years....it's the only thing that I have ever worn. A week doesn't go by that I don't get a compliment on this scent.

I love the smell of this cologne but since major stores discontiued I can't find it any more....no one seems to keep it in stock
