I just love how it smells. It doesn't smell girly, but I just love men's cologne.

I had a friend whose house smelled EXACTLY like this...and that annoyed the crap out of me. Its ok for kids under 18. Its a junior high and high school fragrance for the most part, girls seem to like it but its wierd for me

Didn't like the scent after the initial spray on. The dry down was better, but there really isn't anything about this scent that makes it stand out. Even worse is the scent life which is a couple of hours if you're lucky... Much better scents out there to spend your money on imo....

Best of the few similar blacks I have sampled, like bvlgari and 360 (neither is very good imo). This one is definitely more refined and subtle than those others, and also more rare, which will add to your allure if you are one of those few wearing it.....

Initially smells similar to some bubble gum or candy. Nice subtle daytime scent.

true , it´s amazing ... fresh , casual , carefree ... for everyday use or/and for the guy that doesnt want people to smell him a mile away ... i gave my husband a bottle and although he has quite a few others ... he wears it quite often ...he also likes ... laguna ;visit ;zino ; lalique (lion) ; lalique (le faune)... great fragrance !

My favorite Ferrari! The first impression was a sugar mint like candy cane at Christmas time. But it is definitely a warm spicey scent. Not overpowering and very enjoyable. It is pleasant to smell.

i love this one. great for everyday use if you're not looking to really stand out. lasts all day, smells great, but not overpowering at all. In fact, it doesn't really seem to project, so it's not really imposing and not necessarily an attention grabber. a great choice if you just want to smell good without screaming it from the rooftops.

this one to me smells very sweet but with a hint of some special exotic note. i don't know but maybe this special note is a smell of new ferrari leather interior. very interesting smell.

Good one. Women like it, but nothing particularly super unique or special. Great for casual use, and even better if you had the matching car... the heads turns, is constantly asked "What fragrance is That"? it smells GREAT on him.... Here's a question for you fragrance lovers...does anyone smell a coffee bean scent? Very mysterious! Alluring! along with the earthy/woodsy smell I pick up a fcitrus like lime with a slight berry scent...and COFFEE!!! I love it!

the ferrari black is a very bold smell, that does last long if used on skin not on clothes. but you know that already. if you do decide to sport this fragrance keep it a secret cause it is a keeper.

This isn't a fragrance that stands out. It is a very classic, common smell that doesn't stand out of the crowd. To me it's just an avarage cologne made for those who are truly into Ferraris. It lasts a long time though.

My husband had tried the Ferrari Red and liked it, so when it came time for more cologne I read the posts about Ferrari Black. I think the Black smells soooo much better than the Red. It is very different than most of the fresh, clean smelling scents. This is a keeper!!

I went to get my dad a gift for fathers day and came across Black, when i got home i decided to keep it and just get my dad something else. Negatives: Smell last only 2 seconds.

Essence of sweet lemon and high roller. This one's for the dashing adulterer. Er. . . gentleman. Previous posters are right: Ferrari Black has the virtue of being relatively unknown, ( everyone please give Acqua di Gio a break ) , has a crisp, masculine outdoors scent (fougere/citrus/ woodsy for the techies)--- but it does not last long. So what? As suggested, have another bottle handy. I also llke Santa Fe, which is similar and lasts even less. Same solution , well worth it. Way to go, Ferrari! This one is delightful.

this cologne is amazingg...i have many others in my "collection" n i can safely say ferrari black is one of the best I have...I'd recommend it for casual wear, or semi-formal events. very nice!

This is my favorite cologne not just because of its intoxicating scent, but because Ferrari black is one of the only outstanding cologne’s that people haven’t tried to mass-produce. My tip to you is buy this cologne and never tell a soul what the wonderful scent is, keep it unique and to yourself.

This is a truly unique and great scent. Ladies really get turned on by this smell, I have never had this much success with a cologne except Acqua Di Gio when it first appeared. Guys, not a lot of people know about this product because it is not sold in very many stores, I would definitely recommend giving this a try. The only downside, however, is that the smell does wear off kind of quick. Take the bottle with you if you stay out long hours. Trust me, it is worth it.

I bought a large bottle of this Ferrari Black just because the bottle looked cool (how foolish is that?). I didn't like it the first day, and I dislike it more now. It has an overwhelming and intimidating smell that you just can't wash off. I'll never spray that junk on again.

Smells very good when first applied, but fades FAST! My girlfriend asked me "you wear cologne?" No matter how much you put on, it won't last.

This one is awesome! In the first minutes it has a very fresh scent that I could only try to describe as that smell in the air after a hard rain during a summer's night. Then it dries to something very classy and low profile that could hint a bit of PACO. Ferrari Red I thought it was horrible, with a floral and sweet scent. Ferrari Black is very different and very special. I think it resembles a bit of Minotaure by Paloma Picasso. AWESOME!

Hmmmm...really does smell great Superb! ...while it lasts...measured in nanoseconds. Gone like the the proverbial fart in a tornado! What a pity!

Great smell, but on me fades SO fast, if it lasted longer it would be amazing...for my money Dunhill Desire (Red) is the ticket to babe heaven. Truly awesome!

I love this cologne! I was skeptical at first because of the name but it smells great. It has a sort of vanilla scent to it. One of my favorite.
