I bought the large bottle because I was so impressed by it on paper. The fragrance opens with wonderful mint notes with a slight undertone of vanilla and lavender. Sounds like the regular version right? Wrong. As the description says, the emphasis here is on the mint notes. Sadly, that's all you get. The drydown is like cinnamon and has an unusual (almost funky) smell to it. My guess is when they lightened the sillage, they also sacrificed the quality of the cologne; it doesn't last long, smell good or even serve as anything aside from a handsome bottle ( I have the 2010 summer version). A waste of sixty dollars, as I never once wore it outside of the house. I thought about demoting it to an air freshener, but opted to give it to my cousin.

I stay in a tropical country where hot and humid 365 days. This is so far my favourite fragrance next to Polo Sport. I bought the 2nd summer last month, plus some free stuff like the Le Male after shave balm & shower gel.

Simply put, i used alot of this stuff 4+ sprays and it just did not last at all!!!! My ladyfriend could not even smell it after 10-15 minutes!!! Does have nice mint notes though at the begnning.

The cologne has good smell of the original Le Male but unfortunately doesn't last at all. Not at all worth buying. Please don't consider purchasing this cologne, instead stick to the Le Male original. Peace.

This is a great scent. I actually like this one better than the original. It's not as heavy, plus as others have stated, the mint is more pronounced making this an ideal summer fragrance...

Hi cologne master. I recently tried Gaultier 2 and my first impresion was that it was a female fragance, but two hour later i really liked the base notes (vanilla, ambar). I like sweeet and woody parfums like Dior Homme and L instant, but I´m not familiar with unisex colognes. Do you think gaultier 2 could work with me. Thanks.

I've just bought JPG Le Male Summer Edition. It's perfect for sunny days, a lighter version of classic Le Male! The emphasis on the mint notes assure a refreshing and energetic touch. A must have for those who wants to smell good!

To tell you honestly, it's pretty much the same as the original, the stimulating summer sprays or any other summer editions with the same notes in it except that the minty notes do stand out more making it in a sense............sportier. In which case if you're at a party outside on a 70 degree night this summer or hanging around a parking lot with your homies and their Civic Sis, Lancer Evos, WRX STIs, etc. trying to impress the ladies then you'll like this one.

haven't been able to smell this. What's different than the orginal that makes it "more appropriate for summer outdoors"?

Just as refreshing, sexy and stylishly sophisticated as the original except more appropriate for outdoor summer use especially during 65-75 degree evenings where I'm at. Possibly even "better" than the original.

I love it- if I were a guy I'd definitely buy it. Plus the bottle is cute, with nice abs.

A lighter side of Le Male, perfect for those hot summer nights.
