  • DANITA 01/24/2013

I purchased this as a gift for my son. He went to Macy's tested it and really liked the fresh clean scent it had. He called me and told me about it, so, I surprised him on Christmas with a gift set I purchased from your Company!

  • WES CLEMENS03/28/2011

This is ok but nothing to write home about. KC went downhill with this one but went back up a little with KC Signature. Smells like Curve, Eternity and Cool Water competition if you ask me.

  • MANLYMAN12/30/2010

This is not the instant smell than get stale stuff. At first it does seem to have strong citrus fragrance. But after a while it evolves into a very clean and fresh scent. I love it! This is one of my favorites. It's not over powering. Not getting outright complements is no way to review a product. an A-hole smells like an A-hole. No matter what splash you use. ;O)

  • CATHLEEN11/29/2010

I bought this for my husband and overtime he wears it someone, even strangers stop him and tell him how great his cologne is. I am trying to find the cologne to buy not the EDT

  • JOEYBEAR01/24/2009

Smells like the taste of sour apple candy. Never received one compliment on it either.

  • ROB12/20/2008

Does it matter that only gay people buy this? Should that prohibit straight people from buying it?

  • BIG MIKE10/19/2008

After 15 minutes of heavy application, the smell is gone!! WTF

  • MIKE 10/17/2008

im very dissapointed in this cologne. Smells like melons when first applied. 10 minutes afterward, It smells like Aqua Di Gio one me. Five minutes later, the smell is completely gone. Thank goodness, I recieved a sample of this.

  • LUCK04/09/2008

This cologne is easily one of my favorites. It has a very sweet/fruity smell that is not too overpowering. My only concern at first was its lasting power... until I received compliments at least 4 hours after I put it on. Excellent stuff.

  • JSTAGRL03/01/2008

I really liked this when my hubby started wearing it and then I sorta quit noticing it. It's a wonderful scent though.

  • LACY01/05/2008

It smells all right, but i have a friend who sells perfumes and she said, that the most people who buy it are gay!!! just to let u guys know!!

  • JEANNIE 12/18/2007

wow love to buy it for my man; love the clean , crisp/ citrusy smell it emits; yet very masculine. He knows whats in the box for birthday or christmas!!!! also anything from kenneth cole for men/ fashion or cologne is great btw!. Great designer.

  • ED20908/02/2007

The first time I caught a wiff of this junk, it reminded me of those Arboor Mist wine coolers targeted at thirtysomething housewives. REACTION reeks of sickly sweet Caribbean fruit punch mixed with cheap grain alcohol. Makes me wonder if Frank Voelkl (REACTION's creator) ever moonlighted as a bartender at the Copacabana.

  • BARBARA W07/21/2007

This is too watery and insipid to interest me, but it might be good for a teenage boy. It's not a bad scent, just doesn't have much character and smells like a million other scents out there. I like Cole's Signature best, followed by Black, and Reaction would be my least favorite.

  • DYUD05/30/2007

Hi! first post.. im a fan of TONY T., ROB H. W.B etc.. as they are my key factors in buying perfume.. love their reviews. just bought this and im so disappointed by its longevity.. doesnt last for an hour next to armani white.. as to the cologne gurus of perfume emporium. keepup the good work..

  • SKIPPY05/20/2007

I received a sample of this a few weeks ago. I sampled it a little here and there; never really going "all the way" with it. It's definitely good...excellent... maybe. My skin definitely picks up the melon that several other reviewers mention at first spray. After a while the apple scent takes over. I noticed that people listed their top ten list with their review of Reaction. I know I saw Givenchy Pi on someone's list; but I'm not sure if anyone said, Givenchy Pour Homme. I mention Givenchy Pour Homme because I'm really somewhat surprised that no one said that Reaction smells a lot like Givenchy Pour Homme...some note or quality of the two scents are similar. I think Kenneth Cole also markets; Reaction for women, and that could be why some men reviewers in here think it is a feminine scent. That is something else for scent marketers to consider. The for him and for her versions of scents, will turn off some men; (and women) who don't want to be wearing a scent that reminds them of the other sex...like crossdressing or something controversial like that. But Reaction is a good name; it's just that it could take on a female connotation by the way of "guilt by association." It gets especially creepy for some men to imagine someone smelling it on them and after smelling it being reminded of a woman they had a real good time with. Otherwise, I don't find it to be feminine.

  • MARIO JUSTINIANI04/06/2007

And two GF's later and KCR still doesn't come close. OK, I stand by 1. Dunhill '34 they used to have it on this site, guess they must have sold out! :) 2. Minotaure, though the herbal 'In Your Face' macho note may be too much for some, in which case go with Roma by L. Biagotti, smoother and similar; 3. Himalaya by Creed, it's like tap dancing in heaven--and 4. Bulgari Black. However 5 and 6 would have to be Antaeus by Chanel and Nicole Miller for Men --both Romantic Masterpieces. A. for night and NM for night or day. 7. Havana (men's) by Aramis (discontinued, like NM-sigh) a true champion. 8. Guerlian Vetiver, leaves Duc de Vervins and anything else light years behind as an outdoors, summer frag. 9. is a 3 way tie between Anucci, The Baron and St Dupont's Signature, but I suggest the saint, as it's now discontinued and 10 a tie between Le Roy Soleil for spring and Geir for cooler weather. Honorable mention goes to Creed's Erolfa--an awsome scent! But you've got to be by the beach (nope, not kidding you need a sea breeze) and the 'Vintage' version of Tabarome which PE does not (yet) carry but which makes the Millesime wimpy by comparison, it's the hard stuff that Bogey and Churchill used. Pax 'all. Mario

  • DILLON03/13/2007

I remember when men's colognes smelled "masculine". To be honest, I'd be ashamed to wear something like this. It seems like fragrance designers are only making scents for vain, effeminate men these days.

  • SILKY12/29/2006

But I thought this was one of the worse colognes. I was "overrun" with enough sample ot fill up a small bottle and it all got thrown out. My mind just wouldn't change. Black is so much better!

  • KAKA2212/24/2006

    1. Desire(Red), Dunhill 2. Black XS, Paco Rabanne 3. Silver Romance, Ralf Lauren 4. L'eau Díssey, Issey Miyake 5. Le Male, JP Gaultier 6. Extreme, Bvlgari 7. L'Instant de Guerlain, Guerlain 8. Reaction, Kenneth Cole 9. Pi, Givenchy 10. Coolwater, Davidoff Wishlist: Vera Wang, Ignition by Lomani, Millesime Imperiale & Himalaya by Creed, Black by Bvlgari

  • JASON1312/17/2006

Ok yet again KC has come out with another hit as he always does! Reaction Thermal is his new one and even though I smelled more than 5 different fragrances, this smelled pretty dang good. Must go back and sniff and sample only this to get clear prospective! KC is doin' his thing!!

  • ALLI12/11/2006

My husband would never wear cologne, even though I like a nice smelling man. Eventually he gave in, and while browsing the dept. store, the lady suggested several. After sniffing endlessly, I kept coming back to Reaction. I think it smells so nice and masculine compared to some "older" man scents. Other scents smell too much like soap or shave gel or something. I definitely recommend this cologne!

  • BRAD11/26/2006

I really liked this one at first.....but over time I have worn it less and less

  • JOHN S10/28/2006

HiTony,I read your comments on colognes on message board and they are ok!I want to ask have you changed your top ten?If it is so please note here. Thanks alot.Good luck.

  • ARI10/02/2006

can pull this off. My guy wears it and I love the subtleness of it. It isn't a cologne that knocks you over when you walk near the person wearing it. It's very very sexy.

  • COMMON SCENTS08/08/2006

Simply put: this is a woman's perfume which has been repackaged and sucessfully marketed as a male fragrance.

  • BRANDY07/19/2006

Clean. Fresh. And gets you out the door. Dont have to wait for a dry down. Not overpowering!

  • M.R.07/05/2006

A different approach for Cole being that this one shys away from luxury and sophistication but is a refreshing apple-woody casual fragrance. It's pretty good stuff for the time being but sadly it will probably eventually in a matter of a couple of years go the way of Acqua di Gio, Curve, Cool Water and a few others...............overly worn like a few reviewers have said.

  • TINKER HAMILTON06/09/2006

If you dab a little Raw Vanilla by Coty behind your ears and then put on one or two sprays of KC Reaction you will not be able to leave a party or nightclub without having tears in your clothes!

  • REII06/01/2006

1=higher by Dior 2¨/be delicious dkny 3/crave by ck 4/issey miyake leau 5/lacoste red style in play 6/true star by tommy i love this one cause it doesnt smell like anything in particular 7/givenchy pour homme 8/givenchy blue label 9/gucci rush 10/perry ellis portfolio

  • SARAH06/01/2006

Smells like melon and citrus, kind of feminine. Totally a turn of to smell this on a guy!

  • RINGO05/15/2006

it smells exactly same as Polo Black and YSL Body Kouros mix together. expecially the base and heart notes, exactly same as body kouros. both polo black and YSL BK are better than this one, simply because you can not put them together and make a harmonic, cordial smell. Keneth Kole can not make good fragrances, they have very fresh ideas, but good try, good stuff take time, kenneth is practically too young and unexperieced as a perfumer

  • ROB H.05/10/2006

Couldn't tell you about Corduroy yet 'cause I haven't got around to sampling it but I can tell you about BdM. Del Mar is a fairly youthful but a very sporty, exotic and sexy semi-spicy, sweet, woody & ambery aroma that drives the women wild. I highly recommend it for outdoor Spring and Summer use but could be worn casually during any season as well. Take care

  • JOEY05/01/2006

Reaction is a nice one. Got my hands on it today for cheap. Luck day. My question directed to you guys is: What do you think of the cologne Corduroy and Del Mar Baldessarini? I've only read about them but I'd like an expert opinion. Night wear? Casual wear? Special occassion?

  • OMNI_04/21/2006

hiii... i tested it today, great smell, very fruity/floral very comfortable, but i find it so similar with lacoste red in the apple notes.. do u think the same ????

  • ROB H.03/24/2006

Right now I couldn't get into detail with breaking down the top, middle and bottom notes to let you know "exactly" what it smells like but on the card that was given to me by the clerk at the fragrance dept. of a nearby store, it reminded me very much of Vera Wang. I made an attempt to go back to that store to resample on my skin and unfortunately they were sold out. (?!?!?) Until then, it's a highly elegant, sophisticated and refined fragrance for the GQ man. I have the feeling that this might be more suitable for the 30s and up bracket.

  • CB03/10/2006

I know you asked Rob H., but I will add my two scents. L'Instant is in the same family of Vera Wang, as a matter of fact they smell very similar. L'instant has a cocoa smell to it, which makes it nicer than VW. It also has a much greater lasting power then VW. I hope this helps. On another note, I think all who posted their top 10 when Reaction first hit PE should repost there top 10 like Rob H. I'm curious to see how people's have changed, I know mine has. The jury is still out on a few for me, so I will post in a couple of weeks.

  • NIKITA 03/03/2006

Please describe and categorize L'Instant Guerlain. I have been dying to try that cologne or even find it. My status on Reaction is that it smells awesome but is beatable. Paris Hilton copied but at times it can smell like peanuts on the drydown. The lime melon scent in Reaction goes away too quick. They both are spectacular on first spray but with okay drydowns. SEE BOTH REVIEWS.

  • ROB H.02/26/2006

As it currently stands..............#10- Dunhill Desire, #9- Rochas Man, #8- Cavalli Man, #7- Le Male by JPG , #6- Baldessarini del Mar by Hugo Boss, #5- Armanicode, #4- Mont Blanc Individuel, #3- Himalaya by Creed, #2- L'Instant de Guerlain ,#1- Vera Wang

  • D.W02/18/2006

But after only 5 minutes, it fades and smells like you've had it on all day. I exchanged it for "Echo" by Davidoff

  • KEVIN02/08/2006

10)CHANEL EGOISTE PLATINUM, 9)OBESESSION NIGHT, 8)BOBBY JONES, 7)JP'S LE'MALE, 6)CAROLINA HERRERA, 5)KENNETH COLE SIGNATURE, 4)QUORUM BY ANTONIO PUIG, 3)VERSACE DREAMER, 2)DIOR'S FAHRENHEIT, 1)HERRERA'S 212. I TRIED REACTION BUT DIDNT CARE TO BY IT, ITS OK. ALSO PACO ROBANNE WOULD HAVE BEEN ONE OF MY TOP 10'S IF THEY HADNT CHANGED THE FRAGRANCE.

  • P.T. STOCTOROCTON01/25/2006

Rather refreshing casual fruity aroma from KC smells the most ordinary of the designer's 4 men's colognes and could very well replace Curve, Eternity, Acqua di Gio and Cool Water as the next everyday and average-priced casual daily wear cologne.

  • COLOGNEMAN01/22/2006

Excellent. I do not yet have this one but it shall soon become part of my collection. It has a similarity to Curve but with a bit more zip to it. Very good.

  • DAX01/21/2006

This is a very versatile scent and has a very fresh top note. Unfortunately that freshness only lasts for about a few minutes. Also, it doesn't last very long either so it doesn't deserve my 5 stars. If you want something that smells similar and lasts long go with Eddie Bauer - Pure, however i don't think this site sells it.

  • MAGIC01/13/2006

I usually spend about 100 for a small bottle of Armoni. One day my wife was shopping around for a new cologne and cam across this one. I smells almost exactly the same a the Gio by Armoni. I love it

  • ROBERT R01/12/2006

Smelled Reaction yesterday. At first smell, I noticed a very honey dew or cannalope smell. Very fruity/melon smelling. I might try some on and see how it goes since it has good ratings.

  • ERIC12/21/2005

When people say "if you want something better try this". That's only THEIR opinion. We all have opinions. Someone mentioned trying Eternity. I personally can't stand that fragrance. Being in heaven for all eternity having fun and bearing no pain is one thing but wearing that particular fragrance makes me cringe. So think for yourself.

  • RN12/08/2005

This is very similar with Paris Hilton for men, in fact they're almost the same. I really like the apple note in this fragrance and it's smells so fresh and nice. This one and KC Signature are definetly the best of the KC's.

  • STEVE YOUNG11/08/2005

Very crisp and refreshing cologne is a bit of a change of pace from the other two. This is a nice n' easy casual scent compared to the other ones which are more GQ/yuppie type.

  • ONG-BAK10/31/2005

A decent casual follow-up to Black but this one seems to lack originality. It IS a nice clean, crisp and invigorating fragrance but it will end up just like someone had mentioned; overly used like Curve and Cool Water.

  • BALZAC10/08/2005

In no particular order: Dunhill Man Vera Wang Minotaure Romance Silver Essence de Zegna Allure Pi Givenchy Blue Label Equipage Cristobal

  • USMCHAD10/01/2005

Smells good at first, but the spice scent overtakes the woods and citrus in this cologne. If looking for something better, try Eternity.

  • MARCO TESTAVERDE09/30/2005

Bears some similarity to Mont Blanc's Presence due to the apple note but overall can definitely be differentiated. Pretty darn good with okay lasting power but DOES seem unoriginal and awfully casual, thus will probably end up being overly worn like Curve and Cool Water.

  • G.ZUS09/29/2005

I love the fresh smell. It's the best one this year, up there with Lacoste Essential

  • TONY T09/29/2005

that have influenced me in making important cologne choices i must say thank tou all so much. especially mario who has been the most help but also pepe, dido, mauricio, rob h,w.b.,r.j.,nikita and others.1 thing i must mention is i purchased maybe around 10 scents without smelling based upon reviews and the only 1 i regret is cristobal.anywho, the holidays are coming up soon and for the newer people such as julian and kingjon and all hell please list your top 10 scents as i am trying to decide betwwen oils or colognes. i will do the same but i must sample about 10 fragrances 1st.very much appreciated 4 those who have listed and those who will.

  • PEPE LEPEW09/24/2005

OK....I know you dispise it, Cristobal fell down to between 15 and 20 of all my colognes. 1) Romance Silver 2) Seduction 3) D&G 4) Allure 5) Allure Sport 6) John Varatos 7) Leau Par Kenzo 8) Le Male 9) Lolita Lampricka 10) Eternity Summer, Incanto and Roma

  • MARCO TESTAVERDE09/20/2005

A very pleasant and casual cologne from rising star Kenneth Cole but I DO have the feeling that this will end up overly worn in a year's time as Curve, Cool Water and.......you get what I mean.

  • ALLICAT09/11/2005

I decided to buy my husband some cologne, and it was tough to decide because he never wears it. He is also a very macho, tough guy kind of guy who thinks cologne isn't very manly (think construction worker). Go figure. The lady at the salescounter pointed it out to me, and I immediatly loved it. Surprisingly, my husband actually liked it so I know that this one is a definite winner. It has a good masculine smell and is very sexy.

  • THEOMAN09/05/2005

Smells great, but unfortunately you can't smell it after 5 minutes, what a waste of cash.

  • KINGJON08/24/2005

smells like the shampoo by suave. or however u spell it. the apple scented one.. this is not worth dishing out alot of cash for when U can just shampoo your whole body or eat apples and crush some with your teeth and rub it all over your body........... green apples..

  • MATT TURNER08/07/2005

Probably the most underrated cologne. This is an excellent cologne that hasnt become TOO popular yet but unfortunatley it probably will be soon due to how nice it smells

  • AQUARIUS7508/07/2005

I agree with the reaction to KCR. It's a good summer scent but does not last long. Gio lasts much longer!

  • DTW08/02/2005

it is interesting to me to read these messeges about favorite scents because everybody has such a vast difference in smells (and taste)...i remember back in the 80's kenny rodgers convinced me that the only scents that mattered were "lady" and "gambler"...anyway your nose knows what it likes and my nose knows what it likes and here they are but not in any order... kc reaction...body kouros... kouros...cool water deep... polo blue...jordan by michael...hummer...donald trump...intuition...212.

  • ERIC07/29/2005

I have to revisit after buying this. I didn't much give it a try and now I love it after all. It really drys down great. I'll have to think about my top ten another time.

  • MARIO JUSTINIANI07/28/2005

Somehow I got 'Homme Nature" by Yves Rocher, which is a super-light apple fragrance that women like but I've O.D'd on too much, so I can't be objective about KC reaction right now. BTW others that women like but I have to suffer smelling on me are The Pina Colada (Marc Jacobs) and the Fig Newton (John Varvatos). Another femme fave which many of you also like is Vera Wang, but when I wear it, the cats sneeze. As to the ever popular popular Le Male and Angel Amen, well , there are some things even I won't do to get laid . . . OK, my faves: 1. Original (rustic box) '34 Dunhill. Hard to find but well worth it.--get a whiff and you'll understand why Ian Fleming wrote it as the choice of his savage/elegant hero. WOW! 2. Minotaure--almost as good, for all men who don't apologize for having b***s. Babe magnet extreme. 3. Himalaya by Creed--you'll feel like a million bucks and get compliments galore, terrific acqua, the best. 4. Bvlgari Black. C'mon I play poker and besides the women love it--at least the kind of crazies I like (if you like them crazier use the black lipped Salvador Dali) 5. & 6. Signature and Anucci ! Ah, sweet romance and true love! What else matters in life, anyway?Honorable mention to Cristobal , Rochas Man, and Very Valentino. 7. Duc de Vervins--let's get lost in the forest! This is probably the best of the greens. Honorable menton to Ferrari Black which is upbeat and fun, as is Perry Ellis 360 Red (hey if it's a red how can it be 'green'--don't worry about it) and the light nostalgic Santa Fe. 8. The Baron--for evenings, it's a little known classic and subtle , nay sneaky, female attractor--think of a super elegant version of Swiss Army. 9) Jacomo de Jacomo-- but only if you look more like Tarzan than Leonardo di Caprio. Strong Stuff! 10. Le Roy Soleil--good for everyday casual strutting. Rather like flopping down on a sofa--while wearing a $300 raw silk shirt. God, are we vain enough? (sigh) :)

  • TAT2DBETTIE07/27/2005

They need to hurry up and get Reaction for women on here so I can give it 5 stars! I love it. Great summer fragrance. Starts out fresh and fruity, but dries down to a nice soft floral citrus. Anywho, I haven't smelled the men's version yet, but after reading the reviews here I am intrigued...

  • COLOGNELOVER7507/27/2005

I purchased KCR and the scent is good. However, it does not last very long (warned by salesman). Aqua di Gio lasts much longer.

  • ATX DUDE07/26/2005

This cologne smells like some apple-flavored shampoos, with a bit of spicyness to it. Definitely fresh and great for wearing on a date. It fades kind of quickly though, but that may just be my nose getting used to it. All the ladies at various perfume counters love it too.

  • BRIAN07/25/2005

I've purchased close to 100 different colognes over the years, and my current collection is about 30+. I'm in my mid-30's, and my top ten is based upon the most comments from women: 1. Joop 2. Desire red 3. Sexual 4. Burberry Brit 5. Amazing 6. Sander 7. Lagerfeld 8. D&G 9. D&G Masculine 10. Caesar's Man

  • W.B.07/21/2005

DID YOU WIN IN VEGAS? ANYWAY, THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ALLURE AND DESIRE IS THAT ALLURE IS MORE ON THE VANILLA SIDE THAT DESIRE, WHICH HAS VANILLA IN IT, BUT IS FRUITIER AND WOODIER. I APPRECIATE YOU FACILLITATING ALL THESE COMPARISONS BY ALL THE PERFUME EMPORIUM VETS. P.S. CRISTOBAL DOES NOT SMELL LIKE JOOP TO ME. IT IS CLOSER TO ROCHAS MAN THAN ANYTHING. ANYWAY, TAKE CARE, FELLOW COLOGNE MASTER.

  • NIKITA 07/19/2005

I finally bought this and I am having second thoughts on it. It's still good but the green apple smell doesn't last long in it and that is really the main note in this cologne. Plus overall the scent doesn't last more than 15 minutes

  • D_ROCK07/10/2005

I have 3 colognes that I wear, that none have mentioned. I get alot of compliments on these: mambo, bellagio, & sexual. I wear colognes that women like alot, and that I like. Not just colognes I like, a good lesson I have learned. Hint: Check out colognes that have alot of feed back from women, if you care.

  • TONY T 07/09/2005

you guys input. i am a black male and age 25.. i have 22 bottles of cologne that are at least an ounce and a bunch of samplers and minis. envy is cool just not top 10 material in my eyes.. and also every cologne addict must at least sample 210 h20. great uncloned scent. p.s. while in vegas every other guy had on allure or desire.. honestly they smell exactly the same to my nose. what is the difference to you guys. my next purchases will be kcr, le male and minotaure...

  • GQP07/08/2005

I'm just eighteen this weekend so you guys will probably disagree with all of my stuff, but here we are (only 8): 1 VS Very Sexy for Him 2 Lacoste Style In Play 3 JV John Varvatos 4 RL Romance (original) 5 VS Very Sexy for Him2 6 TH Tommy 7 CK Eternity Summer 8 Ferrari Red 9 Anchorman Black Panther--kidding--

  • MANUEL PILAR JR.07/07/2005

The first time i use the cologne i did not appreciate the smell, but as time goes by and the more i use it oh boy! it becomes perfect and i love wearing it!

  • ROB H.06/29/2005

My top three are definitely as they are but the rest aren't necessarily approximate due to whatever I feel like wearing at particular moments. #10- TWICE by ICEBERG, #9- PAL ZILERI by ZILERI, #8- DESIRE by ALFRED DUNHILL, #7- ROCHAS MAN by ROCHAS, #6- CRISTOBAL by BALENCIAGA (YES!YES!YES!), #5- LE MALE by JPG, #4- IGNITION by LOMANI, #3- HIMALAYA by CREED, #2- INDIVIDUEL by MONT BLANC and of course #1- VERA WANG by VW. Some other great ones that off and on I've pondered if they should be in the lower half of my top ten are EGOISTE PLATINUM by CHANEL, SIGNATURE by S.T. DUPONT, CHIC by CAROLINA HERRERA, JOHN VARVATOS by JV, MILLESIME IMPERIAL by CREED, MANDORLO DI SICILIA by ACQUA DI PARMA, BASI HOMME by ARMAND BASI and PRESENCE by MONT BLANC.

  • SAEF06/28/2005

i like most colognes, of ones listed i dont have expensive ones like Hermes, Cartier or Chanel- Antaeus but like them a lot. Thanks for sharing your best, i want to sample yours. great site here, thanks

  • ANNIE06/22/2005

I went to the department store to get another bottle of Happy for Men, & the lime green & grey of the Reaction display caught my eye. I sniffed the tester & was IMMEDIATELY in love. I sprayed some on myself & told the lady at the counter that I would think about it. She chuckled & told me I'd be back. Sure enough, not an hour later, I was shelling out $50 for a bottle of this stuff. And...I don't regret it one bit!

My reaction is a little different than the other posts. I find it to be okay smelling but I don't rave about it as others here do. To each their own I suppose. There is just no magic in there for me. But wear yours in health and vigor.

This is a good summer scent. It's very refreshing and smells good. It does remind me of aqua di gio. But with a twist. It's not overpowering and does stay on your skin a long time. But I haven't found anything absolutely unique with this cologne, it might have some power behind it, I'll just have to find out. All in all, it's a fun scent, not as fun as curve but I like it more than aqua di gio. Give it a spritzzzzz. ----Joe

I was given reaction as a gift and i wasnt sure to think because it didnt have a reputation yet but it proved itself. It drives all women crazy. My girlfriend dies when i wear it. Ive never seen anything that affects girls so strongly like this colonge. I would recomend it for all men under 30. Lasts all day too!

I am a cologne master that does not post as often as I should, but my collection is about to hit 35 bottles after this weekend. Out of curiousity how many to other cologne masters have in their collection, anyway here are my top ten in order: 1. D&G PH 2. Chrome 3. Issey Miyake 4. Faconnable PH 5. Ignition 6. Iceberg Twice 7. Platinum Egoiste 8. Jaipur 9. Boucheron PH (Green Bottle) 10. Lomani Cruiser (Hard to Find) I am only 23 and I have seen my taste evovle a lot since high school. If you would have told me their was a better cologne then Michael Jordan or Claiborne Sport I would have called you a liar. As a college student I thought that I would never need anything other then Chrome, and now in the working world I cannot imagine myself without Iceberg Twice The point is my taste in cologne change over time so this is my top ten on the day of this post. I am sure if we do this again a year from now everyone elses list will a slight variations.

I have to say I absolutely love this new scent. However, is it just me or the scent seems to wear off in an hour or two?

  • NIKITA 06/04/2005

I like all of your choices except for Cerruti Image. This smells like gin (see my review). I owned a bottle and had to give it away. Also Romance Silver I don't like because it reminds me of Dior Higher.

  • NIKITA AGAIN!06/04/2005

This is the best clean cologne I ever smelled and I wish it would have came out a year ago before I completed my collection. I recently smelled this from the bottle at a store and it does not smell fruity like in the magazine insert. In real life it smells clean almost perfect. The lady was trying to get me to buy the new Paris Hilton cologne but Reaction was better. There is nothing offensive about this cologne. Although the reviewers keep saying that it is unoriginal, I don't agree. I think that this cologne will be the epitome of what a clean cologne should smell like. But since I already own similar colognes (i.e. Perry Ellis Red--which is a better deal) I will have to wait on this one. Anyways these ar e the colognes I own in no order: K. COLE BLACK PERRY ELLIS 360 RED GIVENCHY PI COOL WATER DEEP SUBTIL BY SALVATORE F. JOOP DIESEL PLUS PLUS MASCULINE

On the card it smells absolutely, positively delicious. I was THRILLED when I sprayed it because it smelled so good, but uinfortunately after about 10 minutes on my arm the fruity top started to clash with the "spicy" (though not really) undertones. Once the fruit faded it smelled like a cheap drugstore aftershave unfortunately... DKNY Be Delicious smells VERY similar, the only differences in my nose are that the DKNY is more melon, and the Kenneth Cole is more apple. The DKNY does not clash and turn powdery on me like the Kenneth Cole does.

  • ANONYMOUS #105/19/2005

WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ISSEY MIYAKE, ALL OF THOSE ARE GOOD AND SOME ARE IN MY TOP TEN. MY TOP TEN IN ORDER ARE AS FOLLOWS........#1-INDIVIDUEL by MONT BLANC, #2-VERA WANG, #3-HIMALAYA by CREED, #4-IGNITION by LOMANI, #5-LE MALE by JPG, #6-CRISTOBAL by BALENCIAGA :-), #7-DESIRE by ALFRED DUNHILL, #8-SEXUAL by MICHEL GERMAIN, #9-EMPORIO NIGHT by ARMANI and #10-ROMANCE SILVER. THROUGH TIME I MAY SHUFFLE SOME AROUND. THE OTHER ONES IN YOUR TOP TEN THAT AREN'T IN MINE, I LIKE AS WELL AND ARE ALL PRETTY MUCH IN THE NEXT TEN. I'M AWARE THAT VERA WANG IS WORN BY HOLLYWOOD ACTOR FREDDIE PRINZE, JR. WHO'S MARRIED TO ACTRESS BABE, SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR AND CRISTOBAL (WHICH HAS SO-SO LASTING POWER THAT I KNOW YOU DON'T LIKE) IS WORN BY MILLIONAIRE SOCCER ACE DAVID BECKHAM WHO'S MARRIED TO LOVELY EX-SPICE GIRL VIXEN, VICTORIA- "POSH SPICE". THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE WITH REACTION IS THAT IT'S PROBABLY GOING TO END UP LIKE CURVE, COOL WATER, ACQUA DI GIO AND ETERNITY......EVENTUAL PRICE DROPDOWN AND OVERUSED TO DEATH. JUST A LITTLE INFO I THOUGHT I'D THROW IN. HAPPY COLOGNE HUNTING!

  • NIKITA 04/27/2005

smelling it a year later. I smelled in a magazine and that unoriginal PLEASURES melon smell I got tired of. But now I smelled it again and it gave me different feelings. I already own a bottle of Black but it's smelled so delicious I gotta get it. To describe the smell i would say Watermelon bubble gum mixed with a woody lime. It is very appealing. It is youthful but the musk makes it appealing to growner guys too. IT'S SEXY.

  • ED04/27/2005

This scent is incredible, I just bought it and the ladies love it!!! I also just can't stop smelling the cap! Help!!! =)

  • JANET04/10/2005

I got this for my friend for his birthday, and I'm so happy I did. He smells absolutely luscious! Extremely attractive scent on a man!

  • WALDO04/07/2005

Before I bought it, I tested a little bit on my forearm. I was amazed at how long this great scent lasted. definatly a great scent and good buy.

  • JC04/06/2005

This EDT is going to explode soon enough when word gets around. This fruity fragrance has very strong apple and lime top notes that make it smell very fresh. I always get compliments whenever I wear this EDT. The drydown is very pleasant as it adds more woody and earthy notes to it so that it doesn't make it too fruity. This EDT reminds me of a more subdued Acqua Di Gio with an apple twist to it.

  • R.J.03/21/2005

THIS COLOGNE IS LIKE A YEAR-ROUND MISTLETOE!!! WOMEN JUST GO NUTS WHEN THEY GET NEAR ME WEARING THIS!! THANKS KENNETH COLE.

  • W.B.03/16/2005

A NICE CAUSAL SMELL THAT IS NOT ORIGINAL UNFORTUNATELY. FOR NOW, I CAN DEAL WITH IT FOR SAKE OF ALL THE PRETTY LADIES THAT LIKE IT.

  • PEPE LEPEW03/10/2005

I like this scent. It has a very nice apple scent and when it dries down it is heightened. Smells a lil like D&G's Light Blue for men. I think Light Blue is softer and milder while Reaction is muskier and a bit more sharper. I would recommend

  • ROB H.03/06/2005

Wear this and wherever you go you WILL get a positive reaction from every female around you.......TRUST ME!!!

  • BRANDON02/28/2005

Wow, I must say, this cologne smells soooo good. Only bad thing is that, i guess its a little to feminine? I was deciding this cologne between intuition but, instead i got Hugo by Hugo Boss, (after using, it smells like crap I should of bought reaction). BUY THIS ONE! ITS GREAT!

  • ROB02/23/2005

This stuff is amazing. To me, it smells like a green apple. It's amazing and it lasts a long time! Worth the purchase!!
