I bought this for my husband, ...it's my most favorite cologne.
A lovely classic fragrance...
Recipient was pleased with their boxed set, as not easily available in stores any more. Buyer pleased with price!
I wore this stuff in the late 80's when I was like 9-11 years old. Got it as a xmas gift one year. It's been many years since I've had it but it still conjures up great sentimental memories. I thought it was greatest thing since sliced bread, but after another 100 colognes and vastly improved fragrance knowledge since then, I now wonder what the girls were thinking when they smelled this on a little boy... haha............... still kicks Drakkar Noir's arse any day!!
i have a bottle from the 70's, i recently tested a spray from a department store since i only have about a quarter in old bottle. . this is no where near what it used to be. i couldn't wait to wash it off but by the time i got home it was gone. it lasted about a half hour. didn't smell the same anyway. so there you have it.don't waste your money
i've loved this sexy scent since the first time i smelled it...bought it for hubby and it's all he wears now...yumm
I'd like to find the musk version again too, if not mistaken the bottle was black with red trim...
Pierre Cardin opens with a STRONG clove note and dries down to a sweet leathery/vanilla finish that carries the familiar scent of a 1970's era barber shop.
This fragrance smells okay but only last a couple hours. This has to be the weakest, shortest lasting cologne on the market. The short duration suggests they are skimping on the perfume oil and marketing a watered down product. There are better alternatives available.
I used to use the musk all the time, women loved it's scent on me. But I haven't been able to find it for years :o( can anyone help?
This is the cologne my dad has worn since I can remember (I'm 32) and I have never tired of it. It's "him" and it brings back such happy memories for me. I always knew when I smelled it that good times were about to happen since it was what he wore whenever he was going to take my mom out for dinner or take us all out as a family. As far as whether it smells sexy, I can't say, because, well, it's my dad's scent. But it sure smells GOOD. ;o)~ If they ever discontinue it, it will break my heart.
used to wear this once doesn´t retract from it. Not anymore at least for the baboons have moved on to Armanis. The philosophy of the bottle design is true to that of the man himself. Cardin emphasizes beautiful lines in the visual as did the painter Ingres, inventor of the oriental harem odalisque-theme, and quite possibly the finest master of sensual painting to ever live. It´s good that there are so many fragrances out there. But few give me the impression of being products of aesthetically gifted minds. This one does. It´s a product that feels sensual bordering on the erotic, sci-fi, that 70´s show and much more.
It's understandable that colognes go in cycles over time - I would guess that in general women would want to hurl if someone smelled like their father, that Freudian thing being a show-stopper. I know that I dislike Chanel 22 because my mother has it. But I like this cologne, and even though I have many that I think are better, my wife always digs it. She says it's powdery, which I don't get, but it's got a nice musky feel. The schwonce-shaped bottle is pretty funny. This is my one old school cologne.
I've never had more compliments from women about my cologne than I do with PC. If you want to hook up, here's the best bait.
Bought a 0.6 oz bottle on sale at X-mass. First reaction this reaks. It found its way to my weekend work around the house cologne. Bought shaving gel loved it and look forward to trying as a deodorant.
This is definitely a classic in my book.Suprised to see so many negative posts.I know everyone was wearing this at one time.I dont wear this much, but its nice to reach for now and then.
this colone smells verry verry good and i would really recomed that you buy it because it smells good and sweet specially for a woman who like perfume sweet.
theres better colons than this but i steel like it because it soft and sweet and it makes me be smelling good.
It takes a man to wear this, not some young toyboy. It is perhaps the most sexy mens perfume ever. Having been around for over 30 years, its still alive and kicking. Dont wear it, if you cant match the promises of this scent.
this cologne is excellent and one of my personal favorites, it has a very appealing scent to females and is a good cologne to wear at night, this cologne is so good that i recommend it to anyone those other people like that richard person are idiots and don't know the smell of high quality cologne
I dont find the smell pleasant at all. My Stepsons' friend, our teen-age neighbor, came to our house and complained a gift he had received, he said its nasty and I have to agree with him. Sorry.
My friend tells me I like the scents of my "era"-80's. I have always, always been lured by the smell of PC. Remember cologne does smell different on everyone, but I got the good skin and I love it! It is good to have a scent of old, for your mood and a scent of new for your mood-this is from a Macy's perfume counter gal.
This cologne reminds me of old men in polyesther all-togethers playing shuffleboard. If that's your thing, great. If you want some action with anyone under 60, find something else. Brut is better than THIS stuff.
reminds me of my dad fresh out of the shower.. its fresh it warm but sexy its not want to cuddle and feel secure this is the cologne for that want to rock someones world look deeper. still an old favorite though
Okay Richard YOU R SOOOOOOOOO Right really bad never ever take this one very wierdl ike gross.
old but good, soft and sweet, but there are better colognes now a day out there
Love it - drive me wild and has for over 20 years !!
This hollers "I'm an 80's man and check out my skin tight jeans". Well, I happen to be an Eighties man. This stuff rules.
I agree with the previous two posters. As a woman, I definitely find this fragrance attractive. It's what my man wears and I can't help but devour him when I get a whiff of it on his neck. Mmmm!
Listen to Vincent... from a woman's perspective, this scent is great..and a definite "babe magnet". It may have been around a while, but it definitely gets me going, along with Gaultier...
This fragrance is not the WORST I have encountered, but I prefer even "Old Spice" over PC. This product is definitely NOT worth the price. My favorites are Lagerfeld, Opium, and WhiteWater (from the same company that makes "Old Spice" and only slightly more expensive than the regular Old Spice product.
One of the worst fragrances ever created!!!!!! Never buy this!!! NEVER!! Its really not worth buying
