YES, I agree: Fresh MARINE top notes, airy as a sea-kissed breeze!!! (No vanilla, no caramel) - Paradox is a fragrance for lover of "L'Eau d'Issey-type-scents".
Here a statement by Luca Turin: " ...my favorite fruity, Jacomo's Paradox for women, is the closest you can get to Mozart without using your ears." He's THE expert, ladies!!! Marine fragrances are not my style - too cool and synthetic. But I can recommend PARADOX to young, sportive and uncomplicated women. A nice summer fragrance for days by the ocean. |

| i'm not crazy about the top notes...very woody, almost herbally. but the dry-down scent is lovely...a sweet, powdery floral. i wish i can smell more of the vanilla, though. those of you who can't find it...try ebay! it's cheaper there, too! |

| This perfume is not for me personally. Too floral. However, I have to give it a good rating because overall it smells good. If I smelled it on someone else, I'd think it was good. It seems to last and last... It was on my hand, and I washed my hands thoroughly with soap, and it was still on pretty strong! I could not smell the vanilla or caramel AT ALL. To me, it is a fruity floral but mostly floral, and it is the type which really carries, so a little will go a long way. |
