| Hubby just bought me a bottle from a high end parfumier since he didn't know to go on-line to buy. I've been wearing Niki since I found it in the 80's but when I put on the first spray of this expensive bottle and it smelled like old Avon gone bad and gave me a headache. What happened?? I know it isn't supposed to smell this way, so I gave it a good shake because I didn't think I had anything to lose. You're probably not supposed to do this with perfume but the next time I wore it there was no nasty smell. Are they still making this fresh since Niki has passed away because I wonder if I got some old stock? I love this perfume like no other and would be sad to see it go away... |

| I really like this fragrance. It smells very good on me, it works great with my male chemistry, yes im a guy, lol. Dont sniff it right after spraying it on, let it set on your skin for a min or two. Niki is very similar to the original Halston fragrance, but in my opinion it is much better, it is fresher, cleaner and the dry down is a million times better than Halston. Niki doesnt have that funky musky note that halston has in the dry down. Even though Niki isnt exactly the same as Halston it is VERY similar, so much so that if you hate Halston, Id say dont even bother trying Niki because you will probably hate it just as well. The pronunciation was questioned in previous posts, here is the correct way to say her name: Niki is said just as it looks, Nick-E, you say Saint just as it looks, like you would say Saint as in a religious St. and Phalle is pretty much pronounced like the word Fall, as in to fall down, or the other word for Autumn. | Not everyone likes every scent, right? This is a distinct, one of a kind smell. To me, there's nothing else like it. Wore this 20 years ago & found it again last year. 28 year old daughter was transported be to childhood & now she wears. If you like it...you'll never forget the scent.

| I also bought this one based soley on the great reviews...Who would wear this stuff???..Honestly, this is one of the most obnoxious perfumes I have ever smelled...too much like Halston..ick. |
