Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions.

Still deciding about this one; I like it, but definitely prefer the original Star to Hollywood Star. It has strong fruity notes but also has the typical spicy essences of Hayman perfumes.

HOLLYWOOD STAR PERFUME REVIEW BY FRAGRANCE JUNKIE
This one is nice, not my favorite scent in the world, but still nice. It has a honeydew melon aroma that is unique and refreshing, but not too overpoweringly fruity. The floral essences do come through, and are balanced nicely by the musk and amber notes. This will likely be a spring-summer scent for me. I do prefer the original Hollywood to this one, as I tend to lean to warmer, spicier fragrances. But if you like floral-fruity scents, you might want to give this one a try. I think Fred Hayman and Gale Hayman make classy scents, that endure. And they all have a characteristic essence about them that says "Hayman."
