| Purchased this fragrance unsniffed based on description and Ann's and Annmarie's comments on this board. I'm more into gourmand and floriental fragrances but wanted something different and rare.I expected a transparent floral, something like "Pleasures" by Estee Lauder. This one is not similar at all to a transparent floral. To my nose it's a carnation floral with a hint of musk. A bit like "Narcisse" by Chloe (one of my faves) minus the spices and less sweet. I also detect a grassy note in it. The smell reminds me of a hand cream my granny used to wear in the seventies and brings back wonderful memories from my childhood. And yes, I think of fresh shower when I sniff it, and so did my husband when he first sniffed it.. Very intense and long-lasting like Joy, which is too rosy for me, and in my opinion easier to wear than Joy. As with any fragrance- try it first! |

| I don't know what the exact notes are for PanAme, but this reminds me of grapefruit on the top, and then dries down to a very pleasant, fresh fragrance. Pretty and inoffensive, a nice summer scent. Patou does nice fragrances. |
