| This is a relatively uncommon perfume, why i can't imagine ! It's bold, seductive, rich, compelling and very Latin in its fervor. Perfect for the evenings, if you like full-bodied, rich, intensely floral or sweet fragrances. There is a touch of sophistication here, and it emphatically doesn't smell tacky or noxious, as most of the other heavy sweet florals do. In My opinion, a very beautiful (and perhaps overpowering if you wear it too liberally) and intoxicating fragrance. (Very long-lasting too).
One word of caution though. This is potentially a love-hate kind of fragrance. People who like Rumba, Poison, Chloe Narcisse, Poeme etc. would probably like this as well. But those who like the lighter or more romantic breezy florals, will probable find this too strong and overbearing.
I love this one. It's certainly not for office-wear ( if you must, wear only a tiny spritz of it, under layers of clothes ... the effect is very playfully seductive with a hint of mystery or mischief!).
But if you like fiery hot colours and flavours, and you want to wear something hot and unputdownable on a date, check this one out. You won't be disappointed!

I'm a lover of complicated, unique and exotic fragrances... And yes, when I was very young I also like to shock people with very heavy, strong, ultra-feminine, sexy, and breathtaking oriental fragrances!! But growing older makes me considerate in the way I wear my fragrances: Now I spray my scents very discrete and subtle, because I don't want to offend other person. - It was hard to find Animale Animale, so I will add it to my collection! I have also the men's version Animale Animale. This oriental fragrance for men was love at the first sniff. I wear it often and it's similar to A*men/Angel for men by Thierry Mugler which I adore. | Just read your return post on the Burberry Brit Gold message board regarding Animale Animale. I had no idea you had written in. So hard to check on all the perfume message boards routinely, especially when I have over 135 perfumes! (How embarrassing-a true junkie I am) Animale Animale is a perfume with potency, yet on me it doesn't come across as too much. You are right, it is a diva scent! And I usually gravitate to scents that knock people off their feet. It's fun! (For me-perhaps not for them!) Joking aside, this scent is in the same category as many of the Hayman scents (Giorgio etc.) in that classy, overpowering sort of way. Not one I would wear to the market, but for an evening out certainly. Let me know what you make of this one. I will check back here in time. |

| Dear Fragrance Junkie, nice to read your review from 2005 regarding Animale Animale. I agree totally with you that this is a distinct(!) fragrance. I bought recently a bottle unsniffed for my collection and WOW - this is a bombshell for self-confident women!! It's a diva-fragrance. The crazy colors of the packaging show that very clearly!!! So I expected an extreme scent and therefore I was not disappointed or shocked... This is a heavy and exotic concoction!!! I put one spritz on my wrist and one into my living room and I can tell you this fragrance stands in the room with a lot of power :-). I don't know if I like AA or not. It's an extreme and bold fragrance and you have to handle this special juice with care. I will not rate Animale Animale, because I'm not sure. Maybe me and Animale Animale will get friends in the near future??? I hope so, because the scent is outstanding and unique... No famous mainstream fragrance and therefore very individual. Animale A. came out in 1992, when very powerful and heavy fragrances were created. I smell a similarity to classic Poison and Vendetta by Valentino.
