| Was this the stuff they gave at that hotel that used to be a big monastery? I remember the soap and bath salts (a peach colored bath salt) in Etro bottles but it didn't say which scent. How do you know it was this one? |

| Having first tried this at a fabulous hotel in Taormina, Sicily, who gave it as their product in rooms, I couldn't get enough. I bought one bottle there, and have used it sparingly for a year! It is deep and wonderful, long-lasting. Brings back deja vu memories of Sicily. You will love it! Always positive comments from others when I wear it. Unique. |

| Love this one for cold weather. It's oddly comforting, really does smell faintly of candle smoke. It's dry, ambery, a bit of old deep rose at dry-down. Unique, like nothing else I've ever sniffed. Try to get a sample first. If you like sweet, girly scents -- this is NOT for you. Just head to the nearest department store so the fragrance fascists can douse you with the latest sugar cube du jour scent. Those in the know will stay with Etro... :) |

| the notes in this fragrance are all ones i love, but the bergamot is so strong it actually made me feel ill the day i wore it. overpowering, unbalanced -- not recommended |

| My jury is still out on this one. So
far, I don't see the point of it. It's
very bitter. Yet I've heard other people rave about it, describing it as a scent that starts out very sharp, but dries down to a warm,
ambery base. I'm still looking for the warm, ambery base! I need to
test it several more times, no doubt, b/c so far all I can detect is
over the top, harsh bergamot and
spices. It is also very long lasting,
a tiny squirt will keep on going for
well over 12 hours, so go easy! |
