LOVELY... GENEVRA 04/21/07 03:00 AM 5 out of 5 stars
BIRMANE PERFUME REVIEW BY GENEVRA
I finally tried Birmane today after reading the reviews. I was expecting something warm and purring like a panther, but I got a surprise. Birmane is a poignant, dewy fragrance, with something in it that strikes a deep familiar chord with me (I think it's the fresia). Birmane stays cool and shady with its flowers, but blooms and lasts beautifully on skin...there is no Oriental heaviness anywhere. If anything I would say Birmane could use a touch of something sharp, a little more cedar, to balance the loveliness... it's almost too romantic. It's a beautiful scent though, deeply feminine and complicated enough for a wide range of ages. (Don't overdo it though...and maybe throw on a touch of Tsar to even it out.)

BIRMANE PERFUME CK 11/25/05 01:15 PM 5 out of 5 stars
BIRMANE PERFUME REVIEW BY CK
This scent to me, is a fruity- oriental with woody notes on the dry-down. I almost gave this one away at one time because it was a edt., I like eau de parfums because of the oil-base. Some edt. don't do good on my skin but I think you will like this fragrance. It's not so-run-of-mill either. Someone will want to know what you are wearing! It is listed as a Floral-fruity, but I say otherwise. It's all depends on the olfactory senses,(nose). Notes are: Peach, freesia kumquat, mid: Jamine, white rose, red lily, Base: Cedarwood, tonka bean white musk! They wou't guess this fragrance!
