| I too had searched for years for this. My Father had bought this for my Mother when he traveled about the world. This is a captivating scent. Everyone would ask me what I was wearing because of it's delicate and long lasting scent. Now I and my Mother are able to remember my Father when we wear it. He is gone now, but by wearing this we feel close to him again. |

| Scat play in a musty cellar during a heat wave. Smells like excrements, mold and rot. No offense to NN lovers but if you wear this, don't come near me. |

| Narcisse Noir must be deliberately invited into your space to be appreciated. It is not a casual, thoughtless "spritz" and one must be in the right frame of mind to truly understand its richness and elegance. I don't find it overpowering, but I do find it intriguing and moody. And it has a past, like any woman who has truly lived. It is sweet but smoky; innocent but sexual. Narcisse Noir does not suffer fools. It must be seduced and coaxed - given time - before it is free to unleash its charms. |

| It is beyond beautiful. Not an everyday scent for me, mainly because I'm afraid not everyone with which I'm in contact will "appreciate" the sweetness of narcissus flower. Instead, it has become a scent in which the sweetness and sensuality of narcissus envelope me in the way that I had tried (without luck--for me) to create with Chloe's narcissus fragrance. To me, it creates an extremely comforting state of mind--I wish I could drink it. While I appreciate Chloe's version, it is unwearable to me and causes me headaches, so I spray it in the bath, and very rarely. I adore Caron, so I'm not an impartial reviewer, but I would think if you love narcissus it is at the very least worth a try. |

| This fragrance has a depth to it that is rare to find in modern fragrances. It is a scent you would find on a senuous mature woman, not a girl. This is truly beautiful, but it should be worn on special occasions. This is not your teen-agers' perfume. |
