| I recently received another bottle of Scherrer 2. The first bottle I had (reviewed below) must have gone off. This second bottle is fresh and smells wonderful. It is definitely close to Dali's fragrance, only this bottle is so good, I'd say it's better than Dali. I had wondered why my first bottle of Scherrer 2 had a sour undertone. It was apparently old and sour when I bought it from an online etailer (not PerfumeEmporium, BTW). So the moral is that if you try a fragrance that normally gets high ratings but you hate it, it could be that you're smelling fragrance that has soured. Scherrer 2 is an ambery-floral-aldehyde with great lasting power, so apply lightly. |

| Scherrer 2 has miraculously appeared in a chain of perfume stores where I live, up till now all Scherrer scents were unavailable for years - I know and love the original Jean Louise Scherrer from the 70's, a lovely green floral. I tried both of them today - No. 2 seems lighter, very aldehydic, reminiscent of Madame Rochas and 'Y' by Yves Saint Laurent. Both Scherrer scents are very French and very classic and different from what everyone else is wearing. |

| Sorry, but I really, really tried to like this one. Last year I purchased the EDP along with some body lotion. I usually like floral aldehydes and floral orientals, and was sure I'd like this one, based on the ratings here and the descriptions I've read of its fragrance notes. Well, it's not terrible but there's something about Scherrer 2 that doesn't agree with me. Maybe it's the honey, but I'm not sure. I used about half the bottle of the EDP and then decided I couldn't go any more. Salvador Dali's signature fragrance is very similar to Scherrer 2 but without the overtone I dislike. So, if you like Scherrer No 2 you also might like Salvador Dali. Dali is a nice, classic scent and seems more complex than Sch 2. |

| Got this in the parfum mini last year from perfume emporium and did not wear until recently. I poured in a small spray flacon and it is amazing. You get the full effect spraying this it around you. Would recommend for evening as well. Beautiful! |

| If you ever felt that the Scherrer 2 eau de toilette had a different fragrance than the eau de parfum, you weren't crazy. I have fallen for it twice, buying the spray several years ago, getting it home and finding out that it only smells remotely the same as the little sample bottle. The spray smells more like Royal Secret. The first time this happened, I threw away the spray. Since that happened years ago, I forgot. A few weeks ago, I bought the eau de toilette spray again, again got it home, and the minute I spritzed some on, the small made me remember. The eau de toilette spray still smells awful. Now I'll only buy the parfum mini. The parfum is incomparable. |
