Back in 1982 I wore an inexpensive drugstore perfume called Oleg Cassini by Jovan. I remember the fragrance contained phermones and was very spicy and aldehyde-like. I think the bottle was flat, slanted octagon in appearance. The Oleg Cassini of today is totally different. It is in the high price range and nothing like the Jovan version. The new Oleg Cassini is a fruity chypre with a woody dry down that is much more refined. While I love both versions, please be aware there is a HUGE DIFFERENCE. I haven't seen the Jovan version in at least twenty years.

I have this form of Cassini;it is rare to find,and comes in a 1.7 oz bottle.It is an astonishingly beautiful,mysterious and seductive version of the fragrance.The opposite of loud and dated.This and the pure parfum go largely unappreciated.Anytime I can find them I immediately snap it up.Be careful-I think it causes men to swoon!
