DATED SCENT REBECCA 08/02/05 01:57 AM 2 out of 5 stars
SAMBA PERFUME REVIEW BY REBECCA
This perfume is very 80's smelling to me. It smells cheap because its too sweet. The chemist(s) who "designed" this scent put ingredients together that don't really compliment each other, like those found in intelligently- created fragrances. Also there may be too much of something that is overwhelming the other, more subtle essences. Not enough forethought went into this one. The bottle is much nicer than the scent. I've smelled worse, but this one is sickeningly sweet, headache-inducing for me. And why do all the sambas have the same glass bottle in a different color. That is so tacky & cheap! Get with the program perfumer's workshop & design some new scents & new distinctive bottles.

TOO SWEET SID 01/05/03 03:59 PM 2 out of 5 stars
SAMBA PERFUME REVIEW BY SID
I purchase this fragrance in the late 80's and I did like it then, but now the smell is so nauseating it's very sweet. A friend of mine unfortunately still wear this fragrance in the summer months.

TO DAWN NATALIE 11/15/02 02:55 PM 3 out of 5 stars
SAMBA PERFUME REVIEW BY NATALIE
I am a self confessed perfumaholic and i found it very strange that when I got pregnant I could not stand the scent of a particular perfume. That does not necessarily mean that that perfume was bad. I know before I got pregnant I liked it but even after I had my daughter I just could not tolerate the scent. The perfume is great but it is just bad memories of being nausious. Samba is not that bad.

A co-worker wore this fragrance when I was pregnant and every morning I dreaded going into work because I knew I was going to throw up when I smelled her perfume. To this day I cannot stand to smell Samba!

This is the worst perfume I've ever smelled. It gives me a headache and literally turns my stomach.
