| For those who love Fidji, I think you will also like Tamango by Leonard, released in 1977. Also very French, light, subtly spicy and will never date. |

| I love Fidji. While mom never loved it and had a passion for Rive Gauche and De la Renta. As a seven year old child I would always pray that the lady at the perfume counter would give me a sampler to take home, most of the time they did and I would inhale the fragrance and have wonderful dreams of wonderful things that such a heavenly scent brought to me. I had not give fidji a thought until walking into a small San Franciso perfume gallery and I suppose I thought of the place as the place that granted perfume wishes so instantly Fidji came to mind and I bought it cherished it and loved it. This was years ago in my late twenties. Last night, I'm in my mid thirties now, I found a big bottle and "paid" for it. I was searching on the web to see if I had paid a little too much for it, but was relieved to see that I paid the market rate. Anyway I am in fidji heaven now, and am looking to buy the lotion so that I can layer the scent. One commenter stated that fidji is for women with class, I will agree with that and add fidji for me brings to mind a women with a very cool sophistication, a woman who is comfortable in any and every situation, slightly adventurous and know how to carry herself. |
