Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions.

Introduced in 1992 by New York designer Donna Karan, as the result of a three year collaboration with her husband. It was created with the same subtle sophistication as her clothes. It is a floral, with a slight oriental feel that contains notes of Casablanca.

I have been trying different perfumes lately and this is one of the ones I am sampling. I lover perfumes so I am trying and comparing a large number. While this perfume has a great staying power, it stays on me all day, it has a powerful scent that is not for all. I definatey think it is for day or office wear, not a romantic scent but a strong heady one. I also think it is suitable for women 40+ but that is my own opinion. It doesn't smell like a young women's fragrance but the fragrance of a more sophisticated mature women. I definately do see how there are some who could really like this fragrance though, as with all scents it is very personal.

It has been repackaged and has just made its entrance on the market under the name "black cashmere".It is identical to the original chaos,all the perfume salespeople I've talked to are sure of it.

Bring back Donna Karan Chaos! It was and will remain my signature scent. I'm waiting for something as good to come along, but... i'm still waiting! Is there anywhere to purchase this discontinued scent?
