BALAHE PERFUME REVIEW BY CAROLINE
I first found in 1983 and every time I smell it, it makes me smile, it brings joy to my heart. I have never had this reaction to a fragrance before and now I can only purchase it in U.S.

BALAHE PERFUME REVIEW BY JR
Excellent review. This is an odd and compelling fragrance. Anise and pineapple, on a bed of woods and animalic notes? I shouldn't like it, yet I do. The sweet smokiness gets to me. Not for everyday -- but sometimes it just hits the spot.

BALAHE PERFUME REVIEW BY NEVENA
Balahe is a bewitching spicy oriental. Starts with plums and pineapple, fruity, then the rich rose appears and finally dries down to a sweet vanilla, powdery vetiver and animalic musk, probably civet. Dark, smokey, sweet (dry fruits) animalic. A very bold and original fragrance. Similar to Animale Animale. Rich and opulent sweet and smokey sillage. Think Poison, Habanita, Rumba, Casmir and the likes. A love or hate perfume.

Could anyone compare this fragrance with others please? I can't imagine what it would smell like, especially the top notes.

MEMORIES PERFUME JUNKIE 08/20/05 11:39 AM 4 out of 5 stars
BALAHE PERFUME REVIEW BY PERFUME JUNKIE
I used this in the 80s (when it came out). I remember it as different. Not too strong, very pleasant. I think I'll try it again. I'm so tired of the barage of new, one-smells-like-all "trendy" perfumes. If I'm going to spend $50 a pop, I don't want to smell like everyone else.
