| Magie was reissued last year along with Climat, Sikkim, and Sagamore as part of La Collection. A special edition series of fragrances celebrating 70 years of perfume excellence. The main notes are jasmine, violet, musk and amber. A magical night of a theater premier, a young, charming actress with roses in her hand just leaving the scene. A vase with a branch of jasmine is standing in the corner of her wardrobe, she is looking pensively at her mirror and then notices a small bouquet of violets on her desk. She is touched by a gentle token of affection sent by an anonymous admirer, she puts the bouquet near her heart and leaves with a gentle trace of musk and amber behind her. |

| I am not fond of aldehydes,but after it dries down it is a very nice oriental perfume. Spicey and sweet. |

| it was due for a comeback- couldn't have come at a better time. Magie is a rich, lady-like floral. The aldehydes give it wonderful projection- it could never be deemed as harsh. This is worth seeking out and trying if you are bored with the current fragrance trends. I hope Magie now stays around for good. Thank you to Perfume Emporium for offering scents from La Collection (except where's "Sagamore"?). Now I don't have to deal with inattentive, snobby SA's at dept stores! |
