| First is my First,One & Only! I've been wearing it since 1981 and it is the only perfume I can say "It's me". My Mom says when ever someone in her presence wears "First" she looks for me - she knows I must be around even though we live 2 continents away. |

| I just noticed your message - I haven't been on the board for a while. To answer your question, yes Jean Louis Scherrer is the original and first fragrance, then came Jean Louis Scherrer 2 which is an oriental type. Yes JLS does have good lasting power. It is top quality. |

| A friend introduced me to first in 1980 and I have loved it ever since. The bottles have changed but the scent remains the same. It's hard to find the shower gel though. And sugguestions where? Boucheron is a classic as well. These two are the only thing I wear. |
