The middle notes are: rose, orris and jasmine and the base of the fragrance is: vanilla, amber and vetiver. Nocturnes is recommended for evening wear.

One of the sexiest and longer lasting perfume I have ever used. Started using it 20 yrs ago in my late 20's and today I sill think is the best.

I would have loved this one but it is just too fleeting. It smells lovely at first, but within 30 minutes I forget it is there. Just fades away on me.

NOCTURNES PERFUME REVIEW BY DEBS

This has no vanilla smell... more of an aldehydic floral. Though, unlike other aldehydes, this one does not turn sour after passing time. It has a slight green note that is cooling. The orange blossom is smoothed by its vetiver edge. There is a transparant sweetness. No other fragrance similar to it. 'Nocturnes' is beautiful and one-of-a-kind!

Truely the best womens fragrance ever discovered.I found it about 25 years ago and have only in the las weeks been able to buy it again. It took alot to find it as I can not get it anywhere in Melbourne. I had it sent from Sydney. I can only find Eau de toilette and would love to get the body cream and the pure parfum if its available.
