Virgin Island Water perfume by Creed, the new fragrance for men and women, captures the tropical splendor of scents carried in the trade winds of Sir Francis Drake Channel near Ginger Island in the Caribbean. The fragrance celebrates a sailing adventure Mr. Creed enjoyed with his son, Erwin, and a royal couple near Ginger Island, an uninhabited xanadu in the Virgin Islands ruled by the British crown. A portion of Virgin Island Water sales will benefit charities protecting the world's oceans. Top Notes: Essence of copra (the white inner portion of the coconut); coconut today (a liquid derived from the sweet sap of the palm tree); lime of the Antilles; white bergamot, and mandarin orange from Sicily. Middle Notes: Hibiscus, ginger, ylang-ylang, and Indian jasmine. Bottom Notes: Sugar cane and white rum of the Antilles, musk from Tonkin. |

| I actually got a chance to smell this before it was launched and was on a waiting list for 3 months to get my bottle, but it was worth the wait. This is one of the sexiest scents I have ever worn and I LOVE it! It brings to mind all the things one loves about a tropical vacation, without being sickeningly sweet like so many other companies make their tropical EDP's. Hints of lime and coconut over a heady musk remind you of the warm waters of the caribbean.
For those who have never tried creed, but feel the need to rate it simply because it is expensive, why bother??? You don't know what this smells like, so how can you say it isn't worth the cost? This scent lasts all day and smells divine. Creed only uses natural essences in their fragrances, distiled using a process developed in the 18th century. That is why they cost so much. Most fragrance makers use artificial, man made scents in their perfumes which drive down costs. Most people are so used to smelling the fake stuff that they don't like the natural scents when they try them. As with all Creed products, spray directly on the skin for best results and try before you buy as musky scents don't work on all people. |

| I haven't used or smelled this fragrance yet but I am floored by these outrageous prices. Can anyone explain to me why this guy's fragrances are so expensive? I love a nice scent just as much as the next guy. But I don't want to have to get a second job to pay for it. In my opinion anything above $25 is to much to pay for a fragrance no matter how good it is. If I had to judge this scent by the price alone, I would have to give it one star. |

| as most creed's are. not a category for this one. a bit fresh, a bit sweet and a little woody. i won't buy it but will use my samples sparingly. not a cold weather scent. very tropical and playful. |
