I made the mistake of buying Lavande Velours online without trying it first. On my skin, this turns weird and medicinal. It smells like a combination of baby powder and iodine. It doesn't work with my chemistry at all. But other people love this and rave over it, so there you go. I definitely recommend trying it before you buy. I wish I knew what that weird medicinal note is so I can avoid it in the future.

Powdery, woody floral. Has an aromatherapy quality as the body warms up to it. Quite lovely.

This is too sweet and powdery vanilla for me. smells like lavender and sweet powder. reminds me of lavender mixed with Ombre Rose. If you like Ombre Rose (which is better I think but not for me either) you may like this. very similar.
