| from the description, i expected to like this more than the original xoxo perfume, but this is not what my nose experienced. the original is pure feminine energy, trendy and beautiful and totally approachable. it's a bit loud but still very enjoyable. THIS one-- the xoxo heartbeat-- is incensy, spicy, and a bit older/standoffish in a manner that i wouldn't expect from such a line of younger/trendy clothing! to me, it's in the same category of fendi/kenneth cole black/by, etc. i definitely appreciate it, but it's just too mature for me (not old-ladyish, though). i bought both perfumes because they were a great deal together, but i only enjoy the original xoxo. oh well. at least it was cheap! :-D |
