| It does tend to be a bit soapy when I first spray it on but that may just be my impression of it because I'm used to lightly spicy/vanillary scents that stand out and become sweet faster. Pure White Linen tends to develop in circles on me and not go through the notes the way frangrances usually do. I may smell the top notes more clearly after a while then later in the day I'll smell the base notes but then it may show some of the middle and top notes again. Hub bought me a 100ml bottle for my 31st but I don't wear it too regularly because the bottle wasn't cheap and I want it to last a while. It's always appropriate and has never offended anyone. |

| My co-worker is always getting complimented on this fragrance. I guess it depends on your body chemistry. She wears this very well and it smells very clean and crisp. Not overpowering at all. I can wear all but a few of Estee Lauder fragrances. I will be trying this one soon. |

| I purchased this after reading some of the comments and the scent is too overpowering. It have me a headache. Too flowerly - not for me. |

| I've been prevaricating about buying this perfume, and finally took the plunge today. I took it into work and I was sampling another scent, miracle by lancome, which I found awful and cloying, so I sprayed some pure white linen on a colleague. On her it didn't go down well at all, it seemed sharp and jarring. Then I came home and used the shower gel and sprayed on the perfume, and I really love it. Been wearing White Linen for ages and getting a bit tired of it, and this scent seems quite different, not as soapy. Guess this is just a roundabout way of saying that it clearly doesn't suit everybody. |

| This perufme is really nice but different from what I imagined...didnt know it was fruity. But I didnt like the price...may be I might buy another perfume with the same money! |
