| I have worn the parent scent Caleche for over 30 years, and when I have it on I never fail to get asked "what is that wonderful fragrance?" However, your body has to respond well to vetiver. But in my opinion Caleche is a bit too heavy for the summer. I was therefore elated to find a Delicate version several years ago. This too is one of those fragrances that is like a warm hug, only not so tight as the full blown version. It is now a summer staple. |

| The notes listed here are those for the original Caleche. According to the handy blog Now Smell This (nowsmellthis.blogharbor.com)
has notes of rose, jasmine, mandarin, pink pepper, black currant and white cedar. It is still an aldeyhyde and is classified as a floral woody citrus, and compared to the original, is airy, light and fresh, while also being refined. For those who are wondering caleche came out in '61, then the soie de parfum in 1992 (semi-lighter caleche) and the eau delicate in 2003. It sounds nice, I'll have to try it. Don't you just love fun perfume facts!!! |

| a good perfum if i have to wake up at five o'clock in the morning.
eau des merveilles would be to strong if I sit in the train crowded by people, caleche eau delicate is nice at morning time. |
