This fragrance is the second installment of the Garden-Perfumes collection first introduced in 2003, with the launch of Un Jardin en Mediterranee (A Garden on the Mediterranean). A fruity, green, woody juice with notes of green mango, lotus flower, aromatic rushes, incense and sycamore wood. Hermes celebrates the River Nile - a symbol of renewal and fertility - with the creation of the Eau de Toilette Un Jardin Sur le Nil perfume by Hermes. This perfume is the expression of an olfactory quest through the island-gardens which arise from the Nile, oasis of life where time stands still. A perfume of life and light, sparkling and generous, where the scents of green mango, lotus flowers and aromatic rushes mingle with incense and sycamore wood. | She describes this fragrance beautifully, though on my skin I get slighty different aspects of the scent. I prefer this over Mediterranee; it's more complex and goes through more interesting changes on my skin. If you enjoy this type of fragrance, another one to try is Herba Fresca by Guerlain. It's very unusual with its grassy/minty smell, like being in a field in the middle of summer. |

| I'm glad his worked for all of you, I was so disappointed when I received mine, I don't know if it was a bad bottle but it spelled just like Raid, a bug repellant, I sprayed some on my Husband and on a friend and it smelled the same on them, at first it was fresh and lemony then it developed into such a horrible smell, my Husband laughed and wanted it to kill the ants in the back yard, what a waste of money |

| This is a very juicy, fruity green so it can be great for those NOT wanting a dry, aldehye-ish green. At first blast you get a LOT of mango and fruit, kind of grapefruity sweetness, like other posters said, but to me it seems really more lemon-lime, sweeter than grapefruit and reminds me of Sprite (not in a bad way). At midnote the frag nearly disappears into your skin except for the light Sprite-ish/grapefruity note. A bit later the bottom note kicks in and it lasts really well. The dry down is interesting, understated yet really long lived, kind of skin musk with a slight woody / chocolate undertone—could that be the “rushes” or “sycamore wood” mentioned on the box? Well, the frag description notes “incense” in it too, but I don’t pick up any of that after wearing this many times. I would love this scent on a man (after the initial mango dissipates). A truly unisex scent. |

| Im not sure if anyone would consider this fragrance for a man. The top and middle notes are too fruity and crisp for men. I like the fragrance but it is too light. If this fragrance was sold in a Eau de Parfum, perhaps it would be my new signature scent. |

| smelled nice at first, but i got a headache after wearing it for a while. Even my dog didn't like it. Had to give away =( |
