i used to love this perfume the only place i could get it was when my husband brought it back from the ferry on his german trips is it possible to still get this all i rememer it had a black and gold lable and a black stopper

Grandma's favorite till her 5yr old grandson broke her only tiny bottle of it, personally I (her daughter) did not care for it and appreciated it not being able to be worn anymore, even resmelling it from the broken bottle sent my stomach turning...ugh! But thanks to Aimee's explanation of the scent in 2001 when the scent comes straight from the bottle; I now know why my Mom loved it so. I suspect it was my Dad that gave it to her but also Gardenia's were both of their favorites. So I will be repurchasing a bottle of this one for her from my son to replace the broken one.

I used to wear this scent also in 1987 and I bought it from a boutique shop while I was visiting in Italy. It was super cheap - like $7.00 for the bottle. There in Europe it was considered a cheap perfume such as something like Coty or Charlie is out here. Something you can pick up at the drug store. Nonetheless, it now seems impossible to find and I would love to know where to get more. If anyone reads this and has any luck, please e-mail me at mdzornes@peoplepc.com. I have looked high and low for this perfume. I loved wearing it and everyone that could smell it on me loved it also. I am wondering why it is almost impossible to find anymore.....Has it actually been discontinued? Do they sell it anywhere in Kansas City? If anyone knows where they sell it, please post it....Thank you.
