Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions.

MESSAGE BY KATHY G.
I know what you mean about not smelling what everyone else does in a perfume. The same thing is happening to me with Lolita Lempicka. Most posters rave about its vanilla, violet, cherry, and other sweet notes, and all I can smell is licorice! It does contain anise, so I'm not imagining things, but that's *all* I can smell. It's so weird that the same scent can smell so different not just on us, but to us, too.
