| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| Obviously fragrances smell different depending on one's body chemistry. I first discovered Tsar when a friend brought it back from Paris in 1989. It is one of two that I still wear (the other being "Instinct" by Les Floralies available only in New Zealand). At the height of my collection, I had perhaps 40 or 50 different colognes (including Drakkar). Tsar is indeed the one for me. Try the after shave balm if you can find it. The synergy of the EDT and AS balm is just incredible. As for comparisons, there is nothing like it. It bears absolutely NO resemblance to Drakkar...on me. |
