| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| An oldie but goodie!!! Here a description by Jan Moran: "Tamango by Leonard Parfums for Women.
Year Introduced: 1977.
Scent Type: Floral - Aldehyde.
Top Notes: Aldehydes, hyacinth, iris, wild orchid.
Heart Notes: Rose, lily of the valley, jasmine.
Base Notes: Sandalwood, oakmoss, vetiver, musk.
Tamango is an exotic floral symphony with a dominant note of wild orchids, lifted by ethereal aldehydic top notes and soothed with soft sandalwood and oakmoss. Feminine, rich, refined." -
Another olfactive description: "Floral(Hyacinth, Muguet, Jasmin, Rose) Vetiver Sandalwood Oakmoss."
I agree with all the good reviews here - this is a very classic (aldehyde!), elegant and subtle fragrance. Clean and a tiny bit "soapy". Tamango smells exquisite and classy. It's composed in the typical old French perfume-tradition, but I like it. This fragrance smells ladylike, but in a good and very pleasant way. Self-confident and posh. It's worth a try if you like Chanel No.5, Arpège by Lanvin and L'Aimant by Coty!!!
