| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| I think Robin's description is good -- I, too, find Tamango to be a light (and lovely) chypre. It is feminine in a quiet understated way, womanly not girlile, and is not jarring, too sweet, or new-fangled. It does start out "sharp" (as in the product description) but almost immediately softens to what to me is an enticing and balanced blend of flowers and warm mossy undertones. Better still, it doesn't do anything weird when it dries down. I do wish it lingered longer; does anyone know if it comes in perfume or eau de parfum? |
