FRAGRANCE TIPS
Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions.

I have to disagree with previous posts on this subject. I have Shalimar in the EDC, EDT, EDP, and Parfum strengths and I can detect differences in every one of them. I prefer the EDP & Parfum, they seriously do last MUCH longer, well, on me they do. I have to agree about sometimes noticing a different drydown, I sometimes detect a strange harshness to it, (regardless of which version I'm wearing) I really think that is due to hormones/chemistry changes here and there, I'm thinking it may have a lot to do with diet, because I've noticed if I eat a lot of onions or garlic one day, certain fragrances dont smell right on my skin for about a week or so afterwards. This makes sense to me from my own experiences, although I admit I'm no Dr. or chemist or the like and havent done any scientific studies on this, but hey, think about it, "you are what you eat". It's something to take into consideration when trying out new fragrances.
