| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| I used to wear Shalimar 20+ years ago - loved it then and thought it was the sexiest, most exotic scent on earth. Because of that, and the fact that I want to add more "classics" to my collection, I purchased it again. While I still appreciate its richness and depth, I feel vaguely irritated every time I wear it. I recently figured out why. The last time I wore Shalimar, years ago, I was in a romantic relationship that was full of conflict and . . . irritation. Blew my mind when I made that connection. So now, although I still honor the beauty of this fragrance, I am letting it go to a new home with my sister, who is thrilled to get it and associates Shalimar with positive, loving memories. Sometimes, you just can't go back. |
