| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| My favorite is Shalimar Parfum Spray. The parfum is more expensive, but I want something which will wear all day. I find it light and powdery. Since the parfum is a little stronger I do not have to keep wasting and respraying. It is worth the extra money saved at the end of the day. The EDT and EDC are both too light for me. Shalimar is a classic fragrance developed in 1925 by Guerlain. Shalimar was developed when "nice ladies" did not wear loud smelling colognes among men or in public crowds. If you are having difficulty smelling the parfum--try L'Instant de Guerlain. L'Instant de Guerlain is softly scented and wears well all day. It is a soft similar scent to Shalimar but wears well with modern ladies. |
