| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| Although my history with Shalimar has not been as long or as colorful as some people on the board, I am very much looking forward to experiencing and building a life-long relationship with it. Shalimar is just a wonderful classy fragrance, truly eternal in my opinion... and in all honesty not everyone will be able to appreciate something like that... after all just look at how many people actually enjoy wearing Angel! Shalimar is sophisticated and well rounded... a scent in my opinion that goes well for any occasion if worn by the right person. I think it has to do a lot with the attitude of the woman wearing it. There is a certain depth with Shalimar that is unrivaled by other fragrances as well... This is probably what got me!!! I love how it goes on and how smoothly it lays on the skin. Personally I don't think it's too 'strong' or too anything for that matter. Shalimar is sublime and absolutely supreme!!! Guerlain is a genius!!! |
