| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| I agree ladies. This is beautiful and it is the classic to which all other orientals can be traced. Today I have a newfound appreciation for it. I dropped a full 1 ounce bottle of the pure Shalimar perfume on my bathroom floor. I could have cried, but wow does my bathroom smell gorgeous! I decided I have to go out and buy a brand new bottle. As for compliments, I've concluded that we have to like it for ourselves. Some of the fragrances that garner compliments are trendy or "foody" in nature and are not the ones I enjoy wearing. Shalimar is sexy, so enjoy it. And for the record, I am 48 years old but I have always enjoyed this type of fragrance. I do not believe it is only for the mature. I had the good sense to like it when I was much younger. |
