| Blends of floral and citrus-based fragrances are recommended for casual and daywear. Spicy, woody or warm amber-based fragrances are traditionally favorites for evening and special occasions. |

| Shalimar was my first ever fragrance I bought back in 1972. Back then it came it the rounded bottle with the glass stopper. I wore it to the last drop and though I loved it I never replaced it. I got caught up in other fragrances. Recently I inherited a truckload of fragrances and among them was Shalimar parfum in the newer spray bottle. I knew instantly that it had been tweaked and found it more smokey. I wore it a few times and my son kept telling me how good I smelled and he is my best critic on fragrance. I do still adore this fragrance and somehow Shalimar evokes memories like no other scent. It takes me right back to the 70's in a very good way. |
